The Hamptons is a luxuriously appointed 5 star interior designed house, which is finished to the highest standard. Set within the leafy streets of Wellswood, with sea views, and private gardens, you could not choose a better place to stay. Nothing has been overlooked when it comes to equipping the home. Stunning furnishings, high tech gadgets and special little touches which are sure to make you never want to leave. With a choice of 4 sumptuous bedrooms (2 with sea views), each with its own style & character, a good night’s sleep should easily be achieved, as seen in The Sunday Telegraph. There is a £150 refundable damage deposit charged with each booking.

About the owners: We live in England. Together we run a global support charity and we have the privilege of being able to be based in both Staffordshire and Devon. We adore Devon so as soon as we arrive we feel instantly at home. As our home has water views, as soon as you open the window or doors you get the smell of the sweet sea air, and you instantly get that I'm on holiday 'feeling', it’s very special. Unique benefits of the property: It’s a 5* character filled, interior designed, luxuriously appointed house.

Our family relocated to the area, so our aspiration was always to own a 2nd home near them. We discovered Wellswood Village one afternoon, and instantly loved it. We then purchased our dream home there! The Hamptons is ideally situated a few minutes stroll from the boutiques, shops and restaurants.

What makes this house unique

The Hamptons is decorated to the highest of standards, with modern fabrics, plush furnishings & fabulous finishing touches. The comfy sofas are the perfect place to snuggle up with a loved one, or to read the Sunday papers.2 of the 4 bedrooms offer sea views so you will never forget that you are staying in breathtaking surroundings. The house offers all the latest in technologies, with the all important high speed WiFi, DVD players and flat screen TVs in each of the bedrooms, and the lounge offers a new LG 49" 4K flat screen TV (with Sky+), DVD player and IPOD / IPAD Doc. The Hamptons truly is the perfect Holiday Home.

Notes on accommodation: The Hamptons has been wonderfully interior designed, and is exceptionally well furnished to maximise the comfort and experience of guests. The house is arranged over 3-floors, with 2 bedrooms on the second floor, the first a king suite with walk in wardrobe and en-suite shower room, and the second a twin room with walk in wardrobe. The first floor boasts 2 double rooms, and the master bathroom with shower over. All bedrooms are superbly designed and feature high-end furnishings and LED TV’s with DVD players. The house comes complete with a dvd library, games, books & jigsaws for you to use during your stay. The house has been dressed to perfection with lovely artwork, stylish accessories & luxurious touches to ensure every guest feels at home. The kitchen is very well equipped and comes complete with - coffee maker, food processer, liquidiser, sandwich toasty maker, kettle, toaster and much more. The Hamptons has electric gates & an intercom system. Outside: The blocked paved drive way is located behind private electric gates. The Breakfast terrace is located off the Atrium Dining Room. The lounge has a set of French doors which lead onto an expansive patio. A dining suite & chairs are provided for your comfort, and a large barbecue is also provided for you to use, so those who prefer to dine alfresco can do so. The house also has a full outdoor lounge, so you can relax on the outdoor sofa or rock on the garden swing. A sandpit & childrens basket ball hoop is also in the garden for children to play with. Steps lead off the patio down to the garden. At the bottom of the garden there is an additional entrance into the property, and this is also serviced by an intercom system. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels & bed linen are included within the rental price. Housekeeping is carried out on Saturdays PM. Travel cot is available on request. A selection of toys, games, books & dvds are also available to use during your stay. Other: The hallways, stairs & landings are wide & dramatic a nice reminder of bygone days in grand houses. The dining room is in the atrium within the kitchen. Doors lead off to a private breakfast terrace. Broadband is inc. & a Tel for incoming calls only

When it comes to location, then the setting of The Hamptons, in Wellswood, couldn't get any better. Wellswood has been described as the Primrose Hill of the Riviera, and with tree lined streets filled with expansive Victorian Villa's and Regency properties, coupled with an exclusive village feel, it is the must have address in The South West.

Built in the late 1800's and completely renovated in 2011, this 5-star home is a rare gem and must be seen to be believed. The house comfortably accommodates eight guests, but it is similarly perfect for couples or smaller family groups, looking for a high end seaside retreat, with lovely sea views.

If sport is what draws you to the coast, then The Hamptons could not be better located for you. Torbay offers a host of sailing and water-sport opportunities, and Torquay and Brixham have marinas which offer everything from pleasure crafts to super-yachts. Babbacombe has a fantastic golf club, that is located only minutes from the house, and Torquay has world class bowls facilities, as well as offering tennis, swimming, scuba diving and a host of other activities.

The South West boasts some of the best cuisine in the country, and Torbay has everything from Gastro-Pubs, to Michelin starred restaurants such as The Elephant in Torquay. Brixham is world famous as a fishing port, and boasts a significant number of excellent fish restaurants. Dartmouth also has an array of fine restaurants, from fine dining to more casual family establishments (Sunday breakfast at Cafe Alf Resco is legendary!).
