This large penthouse apartment has stunning views out to the sea and along the coast to Altea, Albir and Benidorm.

There are also panoramic views of the Sierra Bernia mountains. The apartment is finished to a very high standard and furnished accordingly paying great attention to detail.

Estrella de Jazmines makes for an ideal get-away-from-it-all holiday particularly for boating and water sports enthusiasts. The apartment is situated between the towns of Calpe and Altea, both offering a wide variety of attractions. Calpe offers beautiful stretches of sandy beaches lined with bars, restaurants and shops whilst Altea with its historic 'old town', the centre point being the church of the 'Virgen del Consuelo'. Around the church square you can sit outside one of the cafe/bars and watch the world go by.

The apartment is 10 minutes walking distance from Mascarat Beach and the Luis Campomanes Sports Marina. Estrella de Jazmines is fully air-conditioned and beautifully furnished.

I like the location of the apartment because of its tranquillity, yet closeness to the towns of Altea and Calpe.

What makes this apartment unique

I have been taking vacations in Spain for some years now and every time I go to either Calpe or Altea, I find something new about the place. For example, I particularly enjoy visiting Calpe old town. It has many narrow streets full of interesting bars and restaurants. I am also learning Spanish and I try to speak with the locals, albeit badly, as much as possible.

We were at the apartment from 3rd April to 12th April this year and wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know what a fantastic time we had. The apartment is beautiful and extremely well equipped and felt like a real home from home. Having a toddler with us, it was refreshing to see that you had thought of her too. I was delighted to see a proper mattress for the travel cot, her favourite ikea high chair, stair gate and even some bibs to use. The views were stunning and surrounding area extremely well kept.

All in all, we had an amazing time and would highly recommend the apartment to others.

The penthouse's location is excellent and the property is very clean and modern looking

We stayed at the penthouse for a week from 13th to 20th February 2018. The penthouse is extremely well located. The property enjoys sunshine throughout the day and the sunsets are beautiful. There is a big balcony from the lounge, a balcony from one of the bedrooms and a rooftop from where the sights are amazing. It is a very clean property with very good facilities. The area is very quiet and one can go for long walks from the property. The owner has provided a lot of very useful information on the area. The agents looking after the property were very good and helpful. The owner responds very quickly. We would recommend this property.

Excellent accommodation we were greeted by Stuart and Anita quite late they couldn't do enough for us . Would highly recommend this property it caters for everyone's needs excellent information on arrival a car is a must stunning views it is maintained to the highest level plenty of places to eat and drink you can't go wrong staying here will definitely be going back

We had a lovely week in Altea at the beginning of June. The apartment was perfect for us with three children. Very clean, well equipped, comfortable and the views are stunning. The pools are lovely too in nice grounds. It is a quiet area, you definitely need a car but it's a short, easy drive to Altea or Calpe. We would definitely recommend a stay and hope to return one day.

Delightful location, beautiful apartment and fabulous hospitality and support

We arrived at Alicante airport late, picked up the hire car and were held up by a traffic accident until well after midnight. Anita and Stuart, who were managing the property, came and met us en route and escort us back, which was a lifesaver. The apartment was spotlessly clean, really well equipped, and we had a fabulous time. Thoroughly recommended.

Car: necessary

Special interest holidays:

The Marina Baixa area of the Costa Blanca has a unique micro climate giving it a very warm temperature for most of the year making it ideal for outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing and mountain biking.

There are many places of interest to see nearby, the beautiful waterfalls of the Fonts d'Algar and the historic fortress town of Guadalest, are approximately 30 minutes drive away.


The Bay of Altea stretched for 6km. The area has many 'Blue Flag' beaches outstanding for their clear water. Altea Playa de l'Olla is a popular very clean pebble beach which is approximately 10 - 15 minute walk from the apartment. Playa de Cap Negret, to the north of the Altea, is a small beach ending in a cove called the 'Cala del Solo'.

Calpe is famous for the Rock of Ifrach and its many surrounding sandy beaches. One of these is Levante Beach which is nearly 2km long.


The nearest airport is Alicante, 65 kms from the apartment. Take the AP7 motorway to junction 64 Altea/Calpe, here you will join the N332 for approximately 10 minutes following the signs to Mascarat.

The airport of Valencia is approximately 75 minutes drive. You can also take the train from Alicante to Altea and then a taxi to Mascarat, or the bus from Alicante airport to Benidorm and then a taxi to Altea.

Airport collection available on request (approx 85 euro for a group of 4).

Further Details:

On the road to Altea, a few minutes drive from the apartment is 'Mas y Mas' which is a good medium sized supermarket.

For the more active, there is cycling, walking, scuba diving, tennis, golf and much much more all within a few kilometres. For teenagers, children and the young at heart, there are the attractions of Mundomar Sea World, Aqualandia Water Park and Terra Mitica theme park which are all just a short drive away.
