Cottage in Burley, New Forest, Hampshire, England - Short Ten Minute Walk Into The Historic Village Of Burley, Direct Access To The Forest

Burbush Farm cottage is a short walk away from Burley which has plenty of activities to keep all the family entertained such as bike hire, horse riding lessons and home of new forest cider. Beaulieu motor museum is a 25 minute drive away and a must to visit, Lymington is perfect for a walk near the sea or even a ferry trip to the Isle of Wight for the day. The cottage is located next to the main house overlooking the fields and stables. Inside there is a state of the art multimedia system with access to plenty of films and sky for those wet days in front of the fire place. Plenty of board games and books are supplied to meet the needs of all ages. The garden is secure and fenced off, which doesn't stop the deer roaming the drive! There is direct access into the new forest and plenty of space to kick a football and run around secure and safe in one of the fields for those with children. Sadly we can not accept pets. No Smoking is allowed in the property.

Perfect rental

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful cottage, very clean and well-kept with care and attention to detail, even better than the photos. Very well equipped (tinfoil, cleaning products etc). Lovely welcome pack - items thoughtful and well considered. Quiet location with gate into the forest, but also close to village and amenities. Would not hesitate to recommend, you won't be disappointed. Thanks to the Arnold family for having us.

Best rental we have ever had!

  • 5 of 5

This is a lovely, lovely place. The accommodation is fabulous - comfortable, clean, and modern (even thought it looks old and quaint). It is only a few minutes walk to the village (and the pubs) and it is incredibly quiet.

The welcome basket was lovely, and my in-laws and my family universally agreed the cake was delicious, and it was a really nice touch,

We would absolutely rent this place again - and we hope to do so next time we are in the UK.

My eight year old just said "IT WAS AMAZING!" High praise indeed....

One of the best rentals we have stayed in

  • 5 of 5

The cottage and the location are just beautiful, the perfect holiday rental in my opinion. Everything about the place is first class, from the property itself, to the service from the owners, the welcome basket (amazing!), and all of the lovely bits and bobs that the owners have provided to make your stay so comfortable. The cottage is in easy walking distance to Burley village and ideally located to explore the New Forest. Hugo and Boss (the dogs) are great fun and although our granddaughter who was with us is only 4 months old, we could see that the cottage and the grounds would be ideal for children and very safe.

Many thanks for such a lovely few days, I suspect that we will be back.

Beautiful Cottage, perfect New Forest location!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in Burbush Cottage for the weekend, celebrating my 40th! We had a lovely welcome and the cottage has everything you could think of. The welcome basket was fantastic and the homemade cake made for a perfect birthday cake!

We went Horse Riding at the local stables and also walked into the village through the woods for lunch. We ate at The White Buck in Burley for dinner which was also great. Hugo and Boss the resident dogs, made themselves very much at home with us and are extremely friendly.

Burbush Cottage will always be a place with fond memories of a fantastic weekend celebrating in The New Forest.

Many thanks!

The Haines party.

Lovely cottage

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at Burbush farm - the cottage is beautiful and the welcome pack was out of this world. We loved Hugo & Boss (the dogs) and were lucky enough to see a lamb being born - a first for us. We hope to return.

Lovely comfortable cottage

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was lovely, clean and extremely well furnished. The welcome hamper with the lovely Victoria sponge was a real treat. We were made to feel very welcome. The location is great. Quiet but close to the village centre. You can walk from the farm straight into the forest. I would definately recommend this cottage.
