Our brand new eco cottage is built in the heart of the lovely village of Badby. Built to a very high standard it uses natural material finishes where possible. It has two bedrooms with flexible sleeping layout (twin or super king to master bedroom), two bathrooms, comfortable lounge, fully fitted kitchen and sofa bed. The property benefits from the very latest heating technologies featuring a Hanson Formpave Themopave ground source heat system,plus solar powered hot water and underfloor heating throughout. Just a short stroll to two great country pubs which serve real ales and home cooked food.
There is off road parking in the private courtyard plus additional parking in the extremely quiet cul-de-sac outside the cottage.

What makes this cottage unique
The cottage offers the benefits of a picturesque cottage with it's stone walls,slate roof and wooden picture windows but with the bonus of modern, highly efficient Eco living space inside. In addition to the latest technology in Ground source heat systems and solar hot water heating, there are Oak doors throughout, solid Oak floors to the hall and living areas. Natural Travertine tiles to the bathrooms and top quality fittings including the kitchen.

We stayed in Upper Bray Cottage over the New Year. The Cottage was very spacious and fully equipped. Designed and decorated to a high standard. We ate in for most of our stay, the Kitchen had all the equipment required. The bed was very comfortable and there was a large dressing area to store clothes, suitcase etc. The power shower was superb. Everything about the Cottage was perfect. It made our stay very relaxing. Val the owner was on hand if anything was needed. There's a lovely pub down the road. It was a great stay and made our new year perfect. We will definitely be going back to stay again, already planning our next booking.
Beautiful cottage in a lovely rural setting
We were a party of 3 adults and a 7 month old baby. The accommodation was easy to find and beautifully laid out and well presented. The master bedroom wing was particularly lovely and very spacious with a walk in wardrobe. We attended a wedding at Dodford Manor which being only a 10 minute drive away meant the cottage was conveniently located. We spent two nights here but could have happily spent more. There was a high chair and travel cot available for us to use which was important. We were sad to leave the property and I cannot recommend it enough. A lovely stay.

The feel of a traditional cosy cottage with all the modern convenience and high quality equipment you would expect in a luxury hotel. Great service from a lovely friendly owner in a beautiful village, with a traditional cosy friendly pub serving great food literally a stones throw around the corner. Highly recommended.

It has everything to make your stay a happy one from superb quality fixtures and fittings to a most comfortable huge bed!

Badby , the village of its location , is delightful, full of quaint tasteful properties adorned with flowers, and a village green in the middle and a wood on its outskirts.....just lovely!
The village pub, with good food and ales, is literally at the bottom of the road from the cottage ....a bonus on a sunny day to be able to enjoy a drink overlooking village life and getting to know the friendly locals.
On our visits we have had trips to Oxford,Stratford,Leamington Spa and the Cotswolds as well as exploring the more local villages in the midst of gorgeous countryside.
Val the owner is always on hand to help in any way she can and will ensure your break is a happy trouble free one.
All in all we would thoroughly recommend a stay here if you want a relaxed and comfortable get away......you will not be disappointed !

There are numerous walk in the area including the Knightley Way which runs through the village and the adjacent Badby Woods.
The woods are famous for their Bluebells in spring and are home to numerous species of wildlife. These include Muntjac Deer and Badgers.
Silverstone race circuit is just 18 miles away and is accessible through local country lanes to avoid much of the traffic that is a an unfortunate part of major events there.
Althorp House, the family home of Princess Diana is 12 miles from us.
Sratford Upon Avon with it's many attractions is only 26 miles away, whilst Warwick castle is just 20 miles.
Bicester Village, the now famous Designer Outlet shopping experience is 31 miles away and is easily accessed via the M40 motorway.
We are centrally located and only 15 minutes from the M1 and 20 minutes from the M40 motorways.

The use of a car is recommended if you wish to discover the areas outside of the village.

Confirmation of booking is finalised upon receipt of our completed booking form. A deposit of £120 per week or £50 for part week is payable in advance with the booking form. The full balance is required 4 weeks before arrival unless the booking is less that a month before,in this case full payment will be required.
A credit or debit card will be required as security in the event of breakages.
Changeover day is flexible. Arrival after 2pm. Departure by 11 am on final day.
Long term rental rates by negotiation.

- 50% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
