2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom luxury retreat in a rural setting.

The conversion of this former methodist chapel to a luxury residence was completed in January 2012 and has been sympathetically undertaken using quality materials, top-end finishes and the latest domestic technologies, as you can see from the gallery. Located At the end of a quiet lane and set over two floors, the property has two bedrooms, two bathrooms - one en suite - a double height living room with wood burning stove, a large dining and entertaining area and fully equipped kitchen. The sleepy village with its pub - a two minute stroll from the property - is perfectly located for access to not only numerous walks, cycle routes and other outdoor leisure pursuits but also many of the must-see gems dotted around this part of North Yorkshire and beyond. Please note, no pets allowed.

Fantastic break and property

The property really is stunningly appointed and although they are good, the photo's do not do it justice. Everything was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and all the fixtures and fittings were modern and of a very high standard with incredibly comfy beds. The welcome pack was a lovely touch, too. The kids thought the whole place was brilliant! Gwendolyn was really helpful throughout the whole process. We had a few questions that she was always prompt in answering and provided us with tips on where to eat etc. The deposit was returned straightaway too. It is in a very quiet location which is great for 'getting away from it all' but also very close to Flamingoland, Malton, Pickering, Castle Howard et al. 5 stars is the least it deserves. I think we'll be back....

A lovely chapel that has been converted to a very high standard - our kids couldn't get over the funky bathroom taps, they thought it was the coolest place they've ever stayed in. Lovely open-plan layout, well-equipped kitchen, super-comfy beds, fab bathrooms, fluffy white towels - and the whole place beautifully finished.

Simply stunning

The converted chapel was absolutely stunning. The highest spec materials

have been used throughout. The place ouses quality and comfort.

The welcome pack was a lovely touch and again was full of quality produce.

We look forward to staying again soon and wouldn't hesitate to

recommend it to others.

Booking Notes:
A booking deposit of £100 is required at the time of booking, payable by cheque or bank transfer.
The balance is due 6 weeks before the start of the holiday.
The cancellation policy is as follows:
Up to 6 weeks - full refund.
4-6 weeks - 50% refund.
2-4 weeks - 25% refund.
Less than 2 weeks - no refund.
NB: If the property can be re-let then full refunds may be given.
A separate Breakages/Damages deposit of £300 is also required, usually by cheque.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is normally Saturday but we can be flexible within off-peak periods. Please check when making your enquiry.
Departure time 10 am. Arrival time from 3.30pm.

£100 deposit to secure booking confirmation, balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival.
Payment by cheque or bank transfer only.

Notes on accommodation: The property has been lovingly converted with a discerning adult clientele in mind and would best suit couples or groups of friends looking for a romantic or get-away-from-it-all break in the North Yorkshire countryside. Outside: Due to its previous life as a place of worship, outside space is currently limited to a small paved area at the front of the building. This is perfectly adequate to fire up a barbecue or sip a glass of something refreshing and/or alcoholic but lawn tennis or croquet would not be possible. Car parking is some 20 steps away in the lane. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Hotel-grade linen and towels provided. Beach towels also provided. Linen and towels changed weekly. Property cleaned on changeover day, charge included in prices. Additional mid-stay cleaning can be arranged and is subject to additional charge. Other: Ground floor cloakroom and cupboard.
