Absolutely stunning villa and very relaxing view from the pool. We had everything we needed at the villa and above all the south facing view was just lush. We all enjoyed the stay and the club house and also the golfing was amazing as was the course itself. Would love to come back soon as it was a well deserved trip and experience.

Great villa, sum drawbacks but when comparing to others this one ticks all the boxes, especially if you like the sun, however its fantastic design & location allows you shade & breeze , love this villa, Andy & Kerry

Some great memories! Our family loved the stay

We found the villa online and were immediately drawn to the beautiful views and the location of the property. We travelled with our 3 young children, Bella (7), Blake (5) and Ellie (1) on a 2 week stay.

The pool and BBQ area are great, plenty of room for everyone. The only thing you are required to buy for the BBQ is the coals and fire lighters, which is fine. They have all the utensils, plates and cutlery. The swimming pool was well kept and clean. Blake learnt to swim so we couldn't be happier!

The bedrooms were well presented and kept to a high standard.

Kitchen catered for all our needs, so we felt right at home. We found the local shop well stocked with our favourite products, we made for an even better stay.

We also visited the local beach (approximately 30mins drive away). Some great restaurants - plenty to see and do.

A truly wonderful and rememberable stay! The perfect holiday for our family. Thank you :)

Nice villa in need of a little TLC

We stayed September 2016, with th group consisting of 4 adults and 2 children under 7.

First of all I am a seasoned world traveller and review all of my stays (TA level 6) honestly and fairly.

We have stayed at El Valle previously so know the area well and know the quality of the villas fixtures and fittings.

The villa overall is fine, location is excellent for watching the 15th green and El Valle is very quiet.

There is enough room for a group of 6 to live comfortably. The pool is fine for dipping in and kids playing. Clearly it's not a large size but suited us fine. The only issue we had on this was it was cleaned twice in the first week and not at all in the second, so became a bit dirty towards the end. But with a net at the pool we sorted it.

The villa is situated to the far right of the development. Which is around 3/4 mile in road from the clubhouse and supermarket. Both of which are superb. A Spar shop so decent value and the Sondalo restaurant is excellent value with stunning views. My only gripe on this is that the Golfing "gestapo" take unbridge at walking along the paths to the clubhouse. We only did this once and just prior to sunset. The bloke from the club shop came down on his buggy and told us off. I've played golf before and we were not interfering anywhere but they don't like it. Which means if you want to have a drink and eat at the restaurant you would have to walk nearly a mile as opposed to a 400 yard walk through the course. Frustrating.

We managed to obtain a key fob for the gym which is by the club shop. Small but adequate. It's been left on the house keys.

As my title honestly suggest the villa needs a bit of TLC. As previous people have stated the sofa, dining room and coffe tables need replacing. I know the owner is aware and has plans to sort this but it would have made the villa back on the way to being luxury again as its description states.

The villa just needs a refresh of the soft furnishings as above as well as the master bedroom mattress, that's rather spongy I'm afraid and repainting where there clearly has been wall decorations. Some plants to the front would make it more attractive than empty plastic potting trays.

Andy the manager was helpful when the villa incurred an electrical fault which he arranged sorting.

So it's a 3 * for us. We had a great time and nothing affected us other than the sofa and mattress. With some TLC it will be back up to where it is described. 👍𣐼􎿻

Owner's Response: Many thanks for our stay at the villa and great to see you have a wonderful one and as mentioned before the villa will be given a refurbishment so all aspects are covered as to sofa, mattress and paint work. Unfortunately due to previous guests damaging the sofa this and trying to have one delivered during peak season in Spain is not possible so I appreciate your comments and have taken them on board totally. Refurbishments will commences in the coming month and will exceed all guests expectations. Once again great to know you and the family had a wonderful time.

Marvellous experience

Must say this villa was absolutely lovely and the view was immense onto the golf course. Lovely and spacious too. Must say we felt like it was a perfect place for our stay and would definitely come back or recommend this villa as we looked at a few others before booking and this villa speaks for itself. Facilities in the villa were rather good and only thing to mention was that one deck chair was slightly loose but other than that it was excellent.

So bad it was funny!

Having stayed on El Valle for many years now in several different Villas myself and my partner didn't expect to find what could only be described as a Fawlty Towers scenario along with your very own John Cleese type of character (property manager) anyway I digress...

I'll start with the positives...the TV/Wi-Fi and Air-Con worked which was nice.

Upon arrival I could see that the removal (death) of any Bougainvillea El Valle is known for, the broken outdoor lighting along with the plastic pot flower (I'm sure it was flowers at one time) really made the property stand out to the others.

On entering the property there was a faint smell of sewage this would come and go throughout the day and night which was lovely.

The overall decor and furniture inside the villa is well...lacking. I do believe another review contains some insights into this our favourite by far was the brown parcel tape holding the sofa together. I must however give a special mention to the sun loungers I won't go into detail regarding the stains for fear of putting you off your dinner but for any budding microbiologists along with the damp and mold within the property you are on to a win.

To round the stay off the sewage again...there was talk of 'blowing it off onto the course' and finally, whilst stood near 2 inches of raw sewage the words 'it may not have gone in the pool' concluded the stay. Ive seen suicide attempts take more health and safety measures.

P.S Take towels, glasses, sink plugs, clean kettle and anti bac wipes.

We’ve now taken steps to ensure that the bougainvillea and outdoor lighting are restored to the original standard and the drainage issue has been remedied. We were unable to replace the furniture during peak season, but it has now been dealt with. I see that another guest from your stay has left a second review. I hope the various positive reviews of our villa demonstrate that your experience was very much the exception. I hope the improvements we’ve made will see us welcoming you back to our beautiful villa in Huerta de Murcia.

From the Owner

This property is such a spectacular property and above all its prime location on the development with sun all day long. Property boasts everything one needs whilst on holidays and caters for all types of peoples from couples, golfers, elderly, and most importantly families. Its accessible to the sea in 15 minutes and to the Capital Murcia in 15 minutes. Has a fantastic climate and close to 2 airports, soon to be 3 (Corvera). Full facilities on site; tennis, golf, gym, restaurants etc.

Nearest Airport : San Javier and Alicante at 10 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Mar Menor at 12 Kilometres Car: recommended

Special interest holidays:

Places of interest include Murcia (Capital) Restaurants, shops and culture. Cartegena (Culture and port). Mar Menor (beaches, promenades). La Manga/La Manga strip. There is also a water park and Animal Park (15 min drive).


The beaches of Mar Menor and Costa Calida are 15 minutes drive. You will find clean sandy beaches that stretch for miles and are very child friendly. It is a very safe area for swimming with life guards at the major beaches. Many water sports are available including kite-surfing, jet skiing, fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving and sailing. The Mar Menor is a large shallow, warm salt-water lagoon which is very safe for all water sports and remains pleasant to bathe in well into the autumn months.


El Valle is accessible from San Javier Airport using the RM19. It is a very straightforward 20 minute drive. Alicante airport is 40 minutes via the AP7. Both airports are well serviced by budget airlines. The brand new airport of Corvera has just been built and is 12 minutes from the villa. It is due to open in 2012. Car hire is recommended – we have always received very good service from Centauro.


15 minute drive to Murcia, a beautiful city with elaborate cathedral and architecture. There are many squares to explore with quaint Spanish cafe's, perfect for relaxing in typical Spanish surroundings. The beaches and restaurants of Los Alcazares, San Javier and the Mar Menor are 20 minutes away and historic Cartegena with beautiful harbour is 25 minutes away. It is a 20 minute drive to Murcia, Aqua Natura and the adjoining Zoo. Only 30 minutes to Aquapolis waterpark in Torrevieja.

Further Details:

The Costa Calida is situated in the south east of Spain. To the north lies the Costa Blanca and to the south lies the Costa de Almeria. Translating as the 'Warm Coast' Costa Calida forms the coastline of the Murcia region. Well known for its mild climate, it enjoys sunshine for in excess of 320 days per year, more than any other in region in Spain. The sun is at its hottest during the summer months, with temperatures rarely falling below 30°C (86°F). Winters are typically very mild with averages hovering around 18°C (64°F). On the resort in addition to the resort centre there are tennis and paddle courts, a supermarket, gym and games room with pool table, darts etc. The facilities of La Torre Golf Resort (10 mins) and Mar Menor Golf Resort (20 mins) which include supermarket, golf course and clubhouse, bars with live music, shops, restaurants, tennis courts and swimming pools are available to all Polaris World residents to use. The water park (Terra Aqua Murcia) and animal park (Terra Natura Murcia) is situated near Murcia City. Dos Mares shopping mall is the nearest and is approx 15 minutes away at San Pedro Pinatar, you will find a variety of shops, cafes and an extensive food hall. Nueva Condominia on the outskirts of Murcia is approximately 20 minutes away with numerous restaurants and cafes, 200 retail outlets offering everything from food to Haute Couture Boutiques. There is also 10 pin bowling and a 6 screen cinema, sure to be a favourite with all the family. Why not try go-carting which is situated near San Javier airport and is great fun.

This region is filled with history, natural beauty, activities and attractions that can fill your days with fun and excitement. Alternatively it can be relaxing enjoying the villa and pool itself or indeed a golfer's paradise.

Reservation Fee of 50% is payable immediately to secure your booking which is non refundable. Balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival and once balance is paid this also becomes non-refundable. There is a compulsory £120 after stay clean which is to be paid with the balance. Long term rentals are available at a negotiable rate.
