Our Duplex House is the ideal location for both golfers, walkers and those who want to totally unwind. Set on 3 floors, with 3 balconies, it has fantastic views of the 18 hole Anfi Tauro Golf Course and the Atlantic Ocean. Breakfast on the terrace with sun views until dusk. A communal pool has sun loungers for owners and renters with gated access. It is a short walk to Tauro Beach or car/taxi ride to Amadores Beach with it's shops and many restaurants. Puerto Rico is 5 mins by car, or is a 15 minute sea view walk from Amadores. Car parking is available outside.

About the Owner

My husband and I often visit Gran Canaria with family and friends. Most people who visit, come back. Our first holiday was in 1993 on the island. We love to explore and also revisit the many places Gran Canaria has to offer.

Prime Location on Anfi Tauro Golf Course. Elevated Views of the Atlantic Ocean, the mountains and the lush green valley of Tauro, with it's plants and wild life. The PGA Championship Golf Course provides challenges for it's players of all levels.

Activity and Interests


10 minutes walk to Tauro Beach, 5 minute drive to Amadores Beach and Puerto Rico. Can be walked with care.


Car hire from Airport, Taxi's are also available at airport. There is also a regular local bus service which runs quite frequently to and from the airport, and to the Capital.

Las Palmas Airport is about 30 minute drive to Anfi Tauro. Although car hire is recommended, the holiday can be enjoyed with use of local services.


Puerto Mogan, pretty fishing village is 15 minutes drive, or can use local bus service. Market day Friday. Ferry trips to and from Puerto Rico provide good transport.

Maspalomas boasts the famous sand dunes with fabulous walks around the coastal area.

Arguineguin hosts a Tuesday market with small port and shops and restaurant.

Palmitos Park is set in the mountains about 30 minutes drive away, with daily dolphins shows and birds of prey. Beautiful plant and wild life here.

Further Details:

Puerto Rico has many shops, banks and restaurants, night clubs and entertainment for all. There are good supermarkets in most towns. Arguineguin has a good quality supermarket with banks. Local market day is Tuesday, with good choice of fruit and vegetables. Also many stalls of leather goods and clothing to suit most tastes.

The Capital Las Palmas has many museums and places of interest. It has a large Port where cruises ships dock daily. Also a large beach at Las Canteras.

There are many good walks in the mountains to suit most. Good walking boots recommended. Soria has the largest reservoir on the island. Walkers can explore the area as there are good paths connecting the reservoirs and leading to Tauro mountain. Trips around the island can also be booked at reputable agents in Puerto Rico, or any other kind of water sport activity.

  • Notes on accommodation: The spacious duplex is set out on 3 floors. Small children should be supervised at all times on stair levels and balconies. Outside: The duplex has a small rear garden, with views overlooking the golf course. Both private balconies have table and chairs, with 2 sun loungers on top terrace. A small sun terrace is also accessible from the twin bedroom. The communal, unusual shaped swimming pool is of good size and has shared sun loungers, with table and chairs for relaxing. The pool is not heated. Utility Room: Washing machine with clothes airer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels are provided. Advisable to bring own beach towel. Weekly cleaning and bed linen can be changed upon request.(usually a charge for this service).
