Great Vila!

We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to spend our family week in Portugal. The place was much bigger and nicer than I was expecting, Carla was the perfect host making sure we were comfortable and everything was. A couple of things I would note would be the location of the Vila on the add, this is an area, the vila is further north (nearer the bridge in the photos). Another would be that some of the locks on the glass doors didn't work, however we just used the blinds to ensure the Vila was secured. Lastly there was a big yellow mark around the pool where previous guests hadn't showered before entering the pool. This was the only part of the whole Vila I'd say wasnt perfectly clean on our arrival. Again not really an issue for our stay. These are only small things. All in all we really enjoyed our week staying here. A reall home from home. The Vila was equipped with everything we needed and more. Thank you!!

Huge impressive villa perfect for family or friends

This is a large stunning property and does look like the pictures and the view is amazing. It is bigger than it looks and has clearly had a lot of money spent on furnishings and decor and overall we really enjoyed our stay here. It has electric shutters throughout which made us feel very safe overnight. The local area was convenient for exploring but the villa was in a very private spot. There is lots of cupboard space and it was a pleasure to cook in the kitchen and is well equipped overall however it’s all a little mis matched (didn’t bother us) and we did have to dishwash some glasses and crockery immediately upon arrival to be able to use them. Carla was very responsive to a couple of issues with electricity and lightning. Personally we felt it lacked some maintenance particularly around the pool area (loose decking boards, dirty gazebo in the garden, rust on canopy frame and outdoor lights. A parasol base with no parasol and in one area a few items stacked up including a broken parasol). It wouldn’t take much to sort these little things out to make it perfect all round. We were surprised to see it has no pool cover therefore to use it requires cleaning everyday. I would definitely recommend this villa as it’s a superb space for family or friends wanting to have a relaxing break.
