About the Owner

We live in the North West of England and we purchased Ashgrove our North Wales cottage 14 years ago as a second home and 8 years ago we decided to rent and it proved very successful. We then purchased Brea Cottage in Cornwall and rented it out after a full refurbishment. In 2012 the family home in Ainsdale which we have had for the last 25 years the decision was taken to rent and again proved successful. In the same year we purchased at auction Riverside Cottage in Cornwall a total refurbishment has been carried out with reversing the living level with a feature bridge taking you from the French doors to the upper garden. All our properties are decorated and furnished to a very high standard giving you a very cosy and comfortable accommodation.

Super value cottage in a great location. We have just had a very enjoyable stay at Brea Cottage. The facilities are great and we felt very comfortable there. Good comms from the owner and a lovely welcome tea tray on arrival. I would highly recommend this cottage.

A charming cornish cottage

  • 4 of 5

A lovely cottage as described, lovely little conservatory on the rear looking out on to a beautiful long narrow garden with lovely views . Comfy sitting room , well equipped kitchen , nice bedrooms . Easy parking and fairly quiet area. Property clean but the shower hose was well past its best and unattractive . We like cornwall for the rugged coastline and coastal walks. We have stayed here before and would certainly come back.

Gorgeous place - Highly Recommended!

  • 5 of 5

We booked Brea Cottage for a week in June, and it's a beautiful place to stay. The views of the garden, and from the garden are stunning, and Ludgvan is a great area to stay in too. There's a brill pub at the top of the road that does real ale and caters for all diets, and the cottage has everything you could want, even a bath, which is quite rare in Cornwall we've found. The owners are lovely people, and we definitely intend to return. - Michelle and Ken Jukes

perfect cottage

  • 5 of 5

This is the most wonderful cottage. The owners have equipped it with everything you need and more and little touches like a bottle of wine and chocolate biscuits just made ay arrival a little more special. There is access through the back garden gate to rolling fields which is perfect for dog walking and the little garden is safe for children as well as being delightfully laid out. Beds are very comfy and the cottage is warm and cosy. There is parking directly outside which was such a help when packing and unpacking the car. The owners are efficient friendly and helpful and there is plenty of information provided for trips out. The area is safe and there is easy access to all the main routes around Cornwall. Highly recommended and I shall book again.

The pictures do not do this cottage justice, very clean, and have everything you need. We will be staying here again, great location, close to the beach (5 mins drive) close to the shops but still nicley out of the way. Great Pub up the hill with very friendly people. Great garden for the dog. I could not put into words the value for money you get here. Thanks to the owners great communication througout. Perfect
