Villa in S'Algar, Menorca, Balearic Islands - Village Location Only 3 Minutes Walk To Sea And All Facilities

The totally refurbished modern villa is situated 200 yds from the sea front and all local amenities. The 3 bedrooms and bathrooms are at ground level and the lounge, dining room and kitchen are upstairs next to the dining terrace with steps down to the ground level terrace and pool area with its own further sun terrace. The living is very flexible for guests to be together or to spread out. It is spacious for a 3 bedroom property with very large terraces and pool area specifically designed for guest requirements. As a full south facing property care has been taken to ensure adequate shade when required to suit guests´needs. Local restaurants and shops are all within easy walking distance.

About James Bull

As a retired Menorca and property lover I have previously rented properties in Trebaluger, Llucmacanes and Binibeca.

I am a maniac for detail (which doesn´t always serve me well!!!) and purchased this property in 2009 and have totaly rebuilt the inside with new electrics, plumbing and central heating. I have installed a huge pool and 3 terraces and just love being here and looking after guests. I have lived on the island since 1998 and can help guests get the best from their visit.

I like to meet guests at the airport and introduce them to the house and local amenities.

I just love the south-east corner of the island from Binisafua round to Es castell and found this Salgar property ideally siuated just 5 mins from Sant Lluis and minute only from shops, the sea and bars/restaurants.

Just 15 mins from the airport and Mahon it offers guests a fast access to major island facilities.

I can walk to the bars and restaurants in 2 minutes and enjoy a lovely property with friends and neighbours.

What makes this villa unique

The 3 hotels in the area offer good food and facilities and offer alternatives to guests. The diving club is brilliant and local restuarants offer a variety of tastes of Menorca. Alcalfar is right next door and its Piccolo Mondo restaurant is a must visit item on a guests to-do list

Booking Notes:
Guests are requested to give a 25% deposit on booking, the balance being payable 10 weeks before departure. Payments are to my UK bank. Details will be sent with booking form.
Please call to my Spanish mobile for a recall from me or contact me via e-mail, quoting a daytime phone number. A booking form will be e-mailed immediately. I live locally and will be available throughout your stay for any assistance required.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Friday, but can be modified according to other bookings.
The property will be available from 3:00 pm.
Guests should vacate the premises by 10:00 am but exceptions can be made depending on others guests´ and cleaning schedules.

Notes on prices:
The prices are for the villa irrespective of numbers up to 7. However in low season reductions will be offered for smaller parties. Please ask me.
Xmas and Easter are at high season prices.

Manager's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.

Notes on accommodation: The third bedroom can be arranged as a single, a double or a double with single over according to need. Cots and high chairs are supplied at cost by the house management company. Please ask me for details. Hot water is via an on-demand oil fired boiler 24/7. Bedrooms are cool when shutters are kept shut during the day, and air con is installed in all bedrooms in the property. Outside: The grounds have been laid out to be spacious and to cater for all needs. Automatic irrigation system. The private pool is 5m X 9m with depths from 80cm at bottom of Roman steps to 1m80 at deep end. Ample sun loungers and parasols. There are 3 terraces in total. Upstairs sun/dining terrace next to lounge, ground floor large dining terrace with full barbecue installation accessed from outside and from Beds1 and 2, Pool level terrace with pergola and further barbecue. There are ample electric points for outside needs. The pool is tended twice weekly. Utility Room: A utility room has been constructed in the garage area with washing machine and separate dryer. Ample cupboards and indoor drying line provided. Both machines are brand new and fully programmable with time delay starts. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen is included excepting beach towels. Linen changed and house cleaned weekly. Further housekeeping services available on request.
