Apartment in central Antibes, Côte d'Azur-Provence, South of France, between Cannes and Nice. - Easy walking distance to beaches ,Old Town, train/ TGV station, bus station, Cap D'Antibes closeby

The apartment is on a tree lined Boulevard off Place Charles de Gaulle. 10 minute walk to the sea, see photographs for the "sea at bottom of Bvd Albert 1er", and when you reach the bottom of the road a short walk to a choice of sandy beaches, Ponteil and Salis to the right or to La Gravette on the left. The historic Old Town of Antibes full of charm and character is a maze of alleys, lanes and narrow streets. The regular street markets and the daily Marche Provençal displaying local crafts, wares and produce attract locals and tourists alike. Antibes is a lively area full of interesting shops, resturants,wine bars and cafes and bars. A visit to Port Vauban with its vast array of super yachts will prove worthwhile. A walk to the Picasso and the Peynet museums is recommended and even a visit to the absinthe museum and bar for some lively atmosphere in the evening. Juan les Pins to which there is a regular bus service is only a 30 min walk from the apartment. The train station is 15 min walk from the apartment. All trains stop there including the TGV (Cannes 10 and Nice 20 mins). The bus station is 250m from the apartment with buses locally to places such as Biot etc.

Lovely apartment with great location

Lovely apartment with character and well located. Greengrocer, fishmonger and supermarket immediately across the road. Bus station around the corner and train station a mere 10 mins walk - handy for day trips Cannes, Nice, Menton etc.

Owner and local contact very helpful. She provides all bed linen and towels including beach towels (great if you are using budget airlines and worried about baggage allowance). Well located for the four local beaches - sandy and pebble, the choice is yours. Small one near the harbour is a bit of a hidden gem.

Too many restaurants to choose from and all only a pleasant stroll from the apartment through the picturesque old town.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Motorway : at 1 Kilometres Car: not necessary


Antibes is on the coast and is the last town before Cap d'Antibes. The Cap is within walking distance of the apartment and is a favourite place for joggers and cyclists. The main beaches in Antibes are Salis a sandy beach just a 25min walk) and Pontiel, also sandy (15min walk). The sea front is less than a 10 min walk from the apartment. There is a beautiful beach in Garoup on Cap D'Antibes and there are of course the famous sandy beaches at Juan Les Pins a short bus ride away.


Nice airport is 19km away and there is an express bus service to Antibes. Car rental is available at the airport and also in Antibes. Antibes is a 30 min drive from Nice airport. Car rental is also available from outlets across the road from the apartment. Antibes station is serviced by Eurostar/TGV. Car rental is noT essential or necessary. The bus and train services are excellent and reasonable, an easy 10 minutes by train to Cannes, 20 to nice about an hour by to Monaco, Italy etc.

Further Details:

There is a full and detailed folder in the apartment of good restaurants, cafe, services etc.. Bike rental is avilable at the train station and there are car rental services on Blvd Albert Premier (across the road from the apartment). Street parking is avaliable outside of the apartment.

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartment is in a residential block which is a large part of its charm and we would like guests to respect the neighbours. It is a no smoking apartment. Outside: Two balconies - one facing towards the front that gets evening sun and one off the kitchen that gets morning sun. Tables and chairs available for both. Utility Room: Washing machine. Outdoor drying facilties. Hoover. Hairdryer Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The apartment will be cleaned and with fresh linen and towels on arrival. A €50 cleaning charge on departure will apply over and above rental. It is expected to be left in good condition. Further service can be arranged by request. Other: All rooms lead off a large central terazzo floored square hallway with extra storage. The bedrooms are accross the hall from each other giving maximum privacy.
