House in Alcossebre, Costa del Azahar / Castellón, Spain - Close to Beach

Three bedroom house walking distance to the Las Fuentes sandy beach and the Sierra d'Irta natural park which has pebble beaches and mountains for hiking. Close walking distance to shops, restaurants, the Marina and the center of Alcossebre town. Large kitchen fully equipped including washing machine, microwave and dishwasher. Spacious family bathroom upstairs and WC/shower room downstairs. Bedrooms with fitted wardrobes. Modern air conditioning units in living room and master bedroom, many extra fans. Two bedrooms upstairs have direct access to a balcony with sea views. On the ground floor the dining room overlooks a private patio with large table and chairs for outdoor dining as well as a pull-out canopy for shade. Use of outdoor community grilling facility, beautiful community swimming pools (one small pool just for little children) and a tennis court included.

Spacious, lovely air conditioned appartment

Just got back from a great holiday in Alcocebre. Booking with Beverly was so simple, correspondence was great and I was made to feel that I could ask any questions at anytime. Thanks Beverly.

The appartment itself is lovely. Very clean and spacious and really appreciated the air conditioning in August heat! Free wifi is a bonus too. We made use of the beach towels that were provided also the toys for the pool/ beach and even had a few games of tennis!! Location is perfect, in the quiet end of Alcossebre and only a few minutes walk to the sea front and the gorgeous Las Fuentes beach (and beach bar!!) The kids enjoyed the pool every morning, nice area to sit around the pool. Very well kept. There is a lovely walk along to the lighthouse where there is another little cove pebble beach perfect for snorkelling.

Thanks Beverly and Dani for having such a lovely appartment and being very helpful!! We will definitely be back!

Spacious house in great location

Had a lovely holiday in Alcossebre. The house is spacious with good size living rooms, bedrooms and garden. We enjoyed using the large community pool and tennis court and being walking distance from the beach, bars and restaurants was great.

Lovely House/Excellent Value

We had an excellent holiday. the house was lovely, the community pool was spot on and really close to the house. Communication with the owners was really good and they were extremely helpful before and during the holiday.

The town was very nice with plenty going on. During our stay, there was a Harley Davidson festival one weekend and a bull festival the following. The house was close enough to easily walk in to the town but far enough away to be quiet.

This house is a 5-minute walk from the Las Fuentes beach. The spectacular blue-flagged beaches in Alcossebre (including in the Las Fuentes area to the north of the town centre) stretch for more than 8km of coastline.


By car from: Castellon Airport 20 minutes away. Barcelona Airport approximately 2 hours away. Valencia Airport approximately 1 hour away. Reus Airport approximately 1 hour away.


From the house one can visit Peñíscola (20 minutes by car) with its picturesque old town and a castle. Drive to Morella (one hour by car), a medieval town perched high up in the mountains. The medieval village of Villafamès is only 35 minutes away. The Aquarama Water Park in Benicassim, Universal Studio's Port Aventura, one of Europe's biggest theme parks, and Valencia’s aquarium, the largest in Europe, are all about an 1 hour or less away.

Further Details:

Alcossebre is a rare jewel on the Spanish coastline. It has not been spoilt by mass tourism and has retained its Spanish charm. There are traditional Spanish towns within a short drive as well as stunning scenery in several natural parks. The Sierra d’Irta natural preserve is within a short walk from our house. It has hiking and biking trails, beautiful views from the mountain tops and sea shores with virgin coves and pebble beaches.
