Apartment in Chamrousse, Les Deux Alpes, Isere, Rhone-Alpes, France - Ski In/Ski out

The apartment and Chamrousse 1650 is linked to Chamrousse 1750 and Chamrousse 1700 via the slopes, or via the regular loop buses, meaning that you can ski from one resort to another, and back, very easily. The main gondola is 50m from the apartment's front door, taking you to the top of the mountain and a height of 2,250m. It really is 'ski-in, ski-out'! Chamrousse is a wonderful family resort and is the French Alp's best-kept secret! It is actually the closest resort to Grenoble - much easier to get to compared to those you may have heard a little bit more about in the past. The resort was built in the forest, which means it offers outstanding panoramas of the Grenoble valley.

Hi there! Thanks for looking at my apartment in Chamrousse. I live in Brighton and work for a Formula E (motorsport) team in the commercial department. I love to travel and in my travels came across this apartment for sale a few years ago. I am an easy-going person who is determined to offer holiday-makers a lovely place to go skiing. I would like to build up repeat visitors from year to year, and will be continually investing in the apartment to ensure it offers people staying a fantastic experience. Why Cameron Maultby chose Isere

A friend recommended I ski in Chamrousse and I never looked back. I bought this apartment as soon as I saw them being developed.

It is so easy to get to from the UK. It might be less well-known than some of the other French resorts, but it is much, much closer to Grenoble than any of those others, which makes all the difference.

Chamrousse is also alot less expensive than some of the more well-known resorts, meaning it offers outstanding value for money.

What makes this apartment unique

The location is the biggest thing.

No messing about with transfer buses once you're at the resort. The main gondola taking you to the very top of the mountain is across the road from the apartment.

There are other ski lifts directly opposite the residence as well.

You can ski from Chamrousse 1650, to 1750 and to 1700, and back, very easily, meaning you will never get bored of the runs.

Notes on accommodation: The property is a studio cabinne, meaning there is a separate annex at the rear of the property containing the bunk bed. Outside: The apartment has a private balcony leading off the living/sitting room. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The property is rented for a week at a time. The apartment is thoroughly cleaned before guests move in. Towels & sheets can be provided if required for a small additional charge, if notified in advance of arrival. Other: The property has a private ski locker.

Apartment Chamrousse 1650. Very clean and in an excellent location for everything

The apartment was exactly what we expected in an ideal location. It was extremely clean and well equipped.

The location is ideal and right opposite the gondola at Chamrousse 1650. There are a number of restaurants very close along with a supermarket, bakery and the Tourist Information Centre.

Great Trails!

Stayed here during the summer for a bit of mountain biking, i was not disappointed, some awesome downhill trails of varying levels of expertise and they were working on new tracks whilst we was there and having the gondola virtually outside your front door was a great bonus. Only issue we did have was a lot of the shops was not open till mid July but Chamrousse is still developing so get in there whilst its a hidden gem. Apartment was wonderful, very clean and upto date appliances with tv, it may be a bit too close for 4 but me and a mate stayed very comfortably, the caretaker was very helpful and friendly and the owner was very easy to deal with. Regular buses into the nearest town. The views are amazing enjoyed many a sunset from a bar in the other part of Chamrousse which had English speaking staff as my french was a bit sketchy. Highly recommend this place if your after a bit downhill action but prefer a more quiet ambiance in the evenings. That said there is loads going on in Grenoble for nightlife if you dont mind a long and fairly expensive cab ride home.

Amazing Apartment

Lovely cozy apartment with stunning views of the valley below.

We spent countless nights sipping wine and watching the sun-set.

The gondola is right across the road as well as the ski hire shop.

Great caretaker in the apartment block.

Totally modern apartment with dishwasher, micro-wave, DVD, LCD TV and all the utensils you can want.

A bit of a squeeze for 4 people, but ideal for 2-3 people.

Best ski holiday ever.

Will never go to a commercialized resort again, places like Chamrousse, where the french locals go skiing are the best places to go

Booking Notes:
I take a 50% deposit on booking. The remainder is payable 21 days before arrival. I also take a security deposit of one weeks rent to protect myself from the property getting damaged.

Changeover Day:
Change-over day is on a Saturday, like the majority of French ski resorts. Check-in is from 14.00 - 16.00, but in fact we are very flexible. We simply ask you to notify us of your expected arrival time in advance. Check-out is 10.00hrs on a Saturday

Notes on prices:
Weekly rental rates vary from GBP 225 (Euro 280) to GBP 500 (Euro 625) per week, for the entire apartment.
