We have just returned from an amazing two weeks in peniscola. Lucia & Martin made sure we had all the details for our arrival and there apartment is beautiful with spectacular views of the sea and the Castle. A very modern apartment with everything we could possibly need to make our stay relaxing.
Lovely apartment at an excellent location
My husband and I had a wonderful time. We agreed it was one of the best holidays we've had. The apartment was very clean and contained everything we needed for an enjoyable holiday. Thank you for the wine on arrival, that was lovely!
Perfectly located appartment in Peniscola
First of all I have to compliment the owners, Martin and Lucia, for the ease with which we were able to hire the apartment. Everything was very clear and all their information with regards to the apartment was completely accurate.
The property was very clean, well maintained and had all the modern comforts one could wish for and more.
the location of the apartment was perfect for us, only a small walk to the beach, the town centre and the supermarket. For convenience the owners left a trolley for the grocery shopping.
The view was breath taking from the apartment, both the old town and the sea are visible.
The owners were very flexible with regards to our somewhat awkward arrival-and departure times.
I would definitely recommend this apartment, the quality and location of the apartment were excellent.

“We own a property at Panoramica Golf in Sant Jordi (Property Ref. S8090 at Owners Direct), which we absolutely love. But, our dream was to also buy an apartment with sea views near the centre of Peniscola. Buying this lovely apartment was a dream coming through! And as for Peniscola: miles and miles of sandy beaches, a beautiful Old Town, numerous great shops, restaurants and bars, stunning nature nearby at the Sierra de Irta. Need we say more?”
Activity and Interests
Peniscola is blessed with endless beautiful golden sandy beaches. The nearest beach is Playa Sur at 300 m walking distance. Playa Sur is ideal for families and children. Its very wide and very easily accessible, also for disabled. It opens to the south shaping a shallow bay. All amenities are available: rental of sun loungers, parasols and pedalos; showers and foot baths; sport area; several restaurants and bars; red cross post.
The easiest and fastest way to travel to Peniscola is by plane and rental car. Car hire is recommended, for the nearest train station is at Benicarlo (12 kms). From the apartment everything is at short walking distance. Distances from the several airports: Barcelona - 215 kms. Valencia - 150 kms. Reus - 130 kms.
Nearest beach - 300 meters. Coastal strip with several bars and restaurants - from 300 meters, all the way down and into to the Old Town. Harbour - 1 km.
Old Town with Medieval Castle of Papa Luna - 1 km. Sierra de Irta National Park - 10 kms. Benicarló (nearest train station) - 12 kms. Vinaros - 20 kms. Panoramica Golf and Country Club - 36 kms. Benicassim (FIB) - 60 kms. Morella, Medieval town - 70 kms. Airports - see Travel.
There are many interesting places to visit in and around Peniscola. At walking distance: The beautiful old town with the 14th century castle of Papa Luna (used in the filming of El Cid) and the Artillery Park at the foot of the castle, where many Birds of Prey can be admired. Miles and miles of blue flag sandy beaches. The coastal strip with many great restaurants, bars and shops. At short driving distance: the beautiful National Park Sierra de Irta. A perfect place for hiking and mountain biking. Its hilltops are populated by a typical Mediterranean forest which descends towards the sea.

After booking request tenant receives lease agreement to sign. Payments: 20% deposit (min. 100 Euros) on booking. Balance and damage deposit 6 weeks prior to arrival. Last minutes 100% on booking. If conditions in the lease agreement are not met the booking will be cancelled. Payments non-refundable. We advise to conclude cancellation insurance. Changeover days customised to suit client. In case of changeover days, the maid service has to clean before new arrivals. In case of preceding/succeeding bookings the apartment is not available before 3pm on arrival day or after 10am on departure day.
Notes on prices:
Rental prices per week/7 nights. July and August - shorter breaks only full week price. September up till June - shorter breaks possible. Long-term stays possible November - March.
Final cleaning after each break (obligatory - not negotiable) €75. Damage deposit (obligatory-returned in case of no damage) € 100.

- Notes on accommodation: Beautiful luxury apartment for a great beach holiday! The apartment is perfectly suitable for families, couples or elderly people. It is situated at the 1st floor of a small apartment complex. The complex has a very well maintained communal swimming pool which is available from May - September. It also offers private parking in an enclosed garage. All amenities are at short walking distance. The key keeping/maid service is taken care of by an English lady. She provides a meet and greet service for our guests and also is the contact during the stay. Outside: Private balcony with stunning views. Also very good views from the balcony to the community pool. Sliding doors in the living room give access to the private balcony. 4 Chairs and table for use outside. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath- and kitchen towels and bed linen available/included in price. Beach towels, wash cloths, baby bedding not available. Linen change and/or cleaning during the holiday possible but not included in price. App. cleaned after each occupation (obliged).
