There is a large swimming pool, small childrens pool and with sunbeds for use of residents in complex, or you can relax on the balcony enjoying the sun and views of the sea and town. You are within walking distance to Meia Praia Beach which is 5km long with white sand and many water sports, bustling marina with its bars and restaurants where you can enjoy watching the boats come and go. About the Owner

I live in Scotland with my husband. We bought the apartment in 2008 newly built and enjoyed buying furniture and fittings to decorate it.

We both work but enjoy spending most of our holidays in Portugal.

We have a grown up family who also love holidaying in Lagos and have been coming here since 1995.

We love Lagos because of the laid back lifestyle and the great facilities it has to offer. There are many beautiful beaches and the marina has a varied range of bars and restaurants.

There really is something for everyone and the apartment is ideally situated within walking distance of all amenities and the delightful historic town of Lagos.

Definately has the wow factor! Sunny, spacious comfortable apartment. Too many nice restaurants to choose from. Good selection of bars and great beaches. Great location. Pamela M



We keep returning to lagos, so many nice restaurants and bars. We love to sit at the marina and watch the world go by. The apartment is lovely and is in a good location, has a good sized pool area- everything within walking distance - and so close to the beach. Highly Recommended Willie&Isabel

We were really impressed with the apartment!! all that you can need is there! we were 4 adults so having 2 bathrooms is very useful, gorgeous apartment, fantastic pool, close to the beach and close to Lagos village, you can go by walk everywhere!

Marie is a fantastic owner with all the indications perfectly organized!

lovely Lagos

My Wife, daughter and i stayed at this property this year. We had a great time here and cannot fault the property. It is in a good location near to the town and beaches so personal transport is not a requirement. The apartment itself is lovely with everything you could possibly need for a fantastic holiday.

Gorgeous Apartment

Fab light spacious apartment with definite wow factor. Very clean, modern and obviously well taken care of with everything we needed for our stay including a great pool with plenty of sunbeds. The apartment is located off the main road a few minutes walk from Meia Praia beach (best in Lagos in my Opinion) and a short walk from the marina and lovely old town. We all loved the apartment and would not hesitate to book it again.

Fantastic apartment and location

Lovely well equipped spacious apartment. We were a family of 5 and the 2nd bedroom still had loads of room with a third bed in it. Everything worked as it should (great aircon and large fridge that worked !)

Pool area not that busy, and 10 minute walk to great beach which was never too crowded even in August. Easy access to marina and Lagos, but agree with other comments that would have been nice for Agent to perhaps explain a bit more. All in all a great holiday.

Great apartment, ideal location

We stayed in this lovely apartment in the last week in August. It is a large apartment that was spotlessly clean, well appointed and modern.

We stayed there as a family of 4, with 2 young children (ages 4 & 2) and the apartment was great for us. The swimming pool was ideal and despite going at a peak time, the pool area was always quiet, relaxing and safe for the children. There's a large balcony over-looking the pool which catches the sun for most of the day.

The location is great and the walk to the marina and beyond to the old town is quite manageable, even with a buggy.

This area of the Algarve is fantastic and this apartment is a great place to stay.

Excellent Position

Large immaculate apartment in excellent location close to marina and beach and about 8 mins walk to the old town with its excellent selection of restaurants and bars. Would recommend to friends but the agent needs to do a little more in his introduction with regards to a/c controls and perhaps shortcut to the marina.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

In addition to Meia Praia beach, which is one of the longest in Europe, there is a smaller sheltered cove beach across from the town wall.

Don Ana beach is approx 10 mins drive from apt you can take Tourist Train from Marina during summer season.

There are numerous beaches within driving distance of apt.

Travel:

Faro airport is 50min drive. Car hire can be organised for collection at airport.

Airport shuttle costs approx 20 euro per person

Taxi costs approx 75euros for 4 people (if pre-booked)

There is a bus from airport to Faro train station (1euro) and the train (runs every 2 hours approx) costs 7euros - takes 1.5hours - Apt is 5 min walk from Lagos train station.

It is not essential to hire a car as the beach, marina and historic town of Lagos are all within walking distance.

Distances:

Lagos Train station is 5 mins walk - bus station is 10 min walk.

There is a large supermarket (Pingo Doce) approx 10 min walk which will cater for all your requirements

Further Details:

Once you have visited beautiful Lagos you will want to return again and again. Facilities include 2 water parks, a zoo and zoo marina, abundance of water sports, sailing, boat trips, kayaking and fishing. Sagres is also worth visiting and is a well known surfing area.

Electric shutter blinds on all windows double as a security and cooling feature. A portugese management company look after and clean the apartment.
