Spacious and comfortable living with private salt water pool, located in Torrox Park with views of the sea and the mountains. 50 min drive from Malaga airport with private parking outside. 5 min drive from Torrox Costa and 10 min drive from Nerja both with their large selection of bars, restaurants and beaches. The white villages of Frigiliana and Cómpeta 20mins away.

About Victoria Layson

We have had a second family home in this lovely road for over ten years now.

The villa is located on the edge of a residential area which is really easy to get to from Malaga Airport and has been a great base for us in Spain.

Why Victoria Layson chose Torrox

The property is not overlooked and easy to get to, safely located in a cul-de-sac with lovely neighbours. We have young children so it's important that they have the freedom to explore in a safe environment and are able to pop up to the shop without crossing any busy roads.

We love popping down to the beach and having dinner watching the sunset across the Mediterranean or going to Burriana beach in Nerja for a lunchtime Paella which is cooked over an enormous open fire.

Our three children love spending all day having fun in the pool. The pool is cleansed using salt rather than chlorine and is maintained every four weeks all year round.

What makes this unique

We love to go out exploring the ancient local villages and the hustle and bustle of the markets or even horse riding and then to get back to the luxury of the villa in the evening.

In the morning I like to walk up to the local shop and get fantastic fresh baked bread and get the coffee or hot chocolate made before anyone wakes up.

Friends and family sometimes stay at the campsite round the corner which also has small bar with pool table and cold fresh draught beer. (it also does a good cooked breakfast).

Outside: Large fully tiled patio area with many potted plants and large palm tree, room for sun bathing (6 sunloungers) and outdoor dinning (table and 6 chairs) built in barbecue. Salt water pool that can be heated (4 x 7m) Wind down awning over dining area. Outdoor cold water shower. Small front garden with mature plants and trees. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Indoor towels and bed linen are provided. The villa is fully cleaned between lets. Extra laundry and cleaning services can be arranged. Please bring own beach towels for outside use only. if using the barbecue please clean after use. Other: Conservatory fully glazed with views over terrace and pool and onto the coast. seating area and small table.

Wonderful villa

We spent a week in this lovely villa. The layout i.e. all on one level was perfect. We could walk out from the lounge to the pool area and very large patio with beautiful views away to the sea. The main bedroom also had patio doors to the pool area. There were plenty of places to sit and relax around the pool and also tables to eat outside. The kitchen was well equipped and a very good size. There is a large comfortable lounge with a dining area at one end near the kitchen. You can get access to UK TV via an Ipad using FilmOn, if you want it. We were able to walk to the local shop and buy fresh bread daily. We had a very peaceful and relaxing week and would certainly book the villa again. You do need a car to explore further.

fantastic villa well worth the money.large rooms with a kitchen that has everything you need.swimming pool fantastic and plenty of places to sit in the sun and in the shade.views over the med.would recommend a hire car so you can explore the area.no English tv now but that's down to the bbc not the owners,we took some dvds

Old Torrox village 2kms. Nerja & Caves 4kms. Velez Malaga 10kms.- multi complex cinema, waterpark, modern shopping centre. Granada and the Alhambra Palace are approx. 90mins drive
