Luxury Villa near San Pedro de Alcantara, 6 bedrooms, 2 private pools, and gym

This property includes four newly renovated buildings in typical Andalucian rustic style. Three of the buildings are for short term rent and can together accommodate up to 12 persons. The property is located nearby the charming village of San Pedro de Alcantara close to Marbella. It offers indeed a special way of living for those who really want something else. As the buildings are located on a double plot the garden is big and generous with various flower plants, fruit trees and palm trees, water fountains and other decorations and art works.

One of the buildings for rent has 3 double bedrooms, the second has 2 double bedrooms and the third has 1 double bedroom. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. All the three buildings are furnished and decorated both indoors and outdoor with many original details, many of them from Bali. Each building has its own fully equipped kitchen, living and dining rooms, satelite TV´s, free wi-fi, bathrooms, laundry rooms, indoor fireplaces etc. All rooms have air conditioning units. A projector TV with a big screen is placed in the living room in the three bedroom villa. TV-channels from all over the world may be watched. An indoor gym with air conditioning,TV set and a separate bathroom is located near one of the two private pools. This property is ideal for large families who like to be together but like their own space.

One building on the plot is the owner´s private villa. This villa is the owner´s private villa and is empty during rent out periods. Attached to this villa is a beautiful outdoor veranda, which is included in the rent. There is also a smaller Servant´quarter located in the backyard not included in the rent.

The beautiful garden includes two pools, one of which is heated, outdoor shower, verandas, sun decks, patios, big lawns etc. The property is located in a peaceful hilly residential neighborhood with mature gardens and still just 10 min drive from beaches, many high standard golf courses, restaurants and bars in San Pedro de Alcantara, Puerto Banus and Marbella. The drive from Malaga airport takes less than one hour.

The caretaker/gardener of the villa lives in the Servant´s quarter and he speaks fluently English. He is available for driving, cleaning, cooking and lots of other things.

My wife and I have moved back to our home country, Sweden, after having worked in various countries for more than 25 years. We spend lots of our free time in our paradise in the south of Spain. We bought this beautiful home in San Pedro de Alcantara, close to Marbella, about 20 years ago. Both of us really love exterior as well as interior design and therefore our paradise has been under careful renovation for many years. We have three grown up children, who like us love the south of Spain with its wonderful climate, friendly people, long beaches, restaurants and bars and of course high standard golf courses.

Why Wilhelm Hemgren chose Benahavís

We have been the owners of this Andalucian home in this beautiful area near San Pedro since about 20 years. We love the location of the area as it is situated in an isolated and peaceful area but still just 10 min drive to several beaches, to many high standard golf courses and to the restaurants and bars in San Pedro, Puerto Banus, Marbella and Benahavis. Within reasonable driving distances there are also the ancient town of Ronda, the historical Al Hambra castle and the ski resort Sierra Nevada.

You reach the area by less than an hour's drive from Malaga Airport.

What makes this villa unique

The buildings on the property are built in a charming characteristic Andalucian rustic style. They are newly completely renovated and include all modern equipment, such as A/C in each room, kitchen and washing room facilities, several TV´s including a projector TV with a big cinema screen, a gym with satellite TV etc. Climbing on a hillside the garden is very attractive with various flower plants, fruit trees and palm trees and big lawns. The garden also includes two private pools, one of which is heated, an outdoor shower, many special decoration details such as 4 old water fountains and art work. The garden also offers several sitting areas in patios, verandas and sun decks.

We can also provide you with a range of services, such as cleaning, washing and driving to and from shops, restaurants etc.

Notes on accommodation: The ideal maximum number of persons to be accommodated is twelve as there are six double bedrooms. However at some additional costs there are possibilities to add up to further 6 persons. Outside: The buildings are surrounded by a beautiful garden with water fountaines and other special art works. Beside big lawn areas there are several outdoor terraces, roof covered verandas, patios and pergolas with sofas, sunchairs, tables and sun sheds.The verandas are very suitable for outdoor dining for 10 or more persons. The gardens contain two private pools, one heated 10x4 m and the other 3,5x8m, both with special pool areas with sun chairs and shaded sitting areas. There are parking lots for several cars. Utility Room: Two washing mashines, irons, iron boards, mangle. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included and will be changed once a week or more often if required. Gardening jobs are done daily. Cleaning inside the house is done weekly or more often if required. Other: Each of the two dining rooms includes dining tables and chairs for 8 persons, fire places, A/C's and direct accesses to gardens. An air-conditioned gym is included and besides gym equipment it has a TV screen and a separate bathroom with shower and WC.

Amazing villa, perfect for friends or family

This villa and its grounds are fantastic - even better than the photos. I was amazed at just how much stuff was in the villas, they really are kitted out, I accidentally left my mirror there which will make an addition to the collection of items! I stayed here in a group of 12 (all late twenties) and we found that it was the perfect place to have nights in and bbqs while not too far from the busy bars and clubs for nights out. The neighbouring villa has a bit of a noisy sound system in their pool but this only disturbed us on the Saturday we arrived.

Special shout of to the caretaker Hameed, he went the extra mile to ensure we had a great stay and helped us with restaurants to go to and taxis.

I would happily visit again with friends or family. 5 stars from me :-)

The ultimate staying in in the south part of Spain

It is a pleasure for me to send a review of our stay in your beautiful home. As we were a quite big group - 8 golfplyers and 3 kids - we really enjoyed the spread out in the big garden of three buildings with separate bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms. We were together when we wanted to and we could also be separated and be for ourselves now and then. We also want to congratulate you for the outstanding design as well for the design of the garden and the pools. The chidren were in and around the pool most of the time. We really liked the "Asian touch" in your home. Each day when we walked around we found new interesting things to admire.

Of course we also appreciated the location, very quiet but still close to everything, Puerto Banus, Marbella etc. For us it was very good and simple to go to the nice golfcourses nearby. We found the village of San Pedro just near our house very charming.

Finally i have to mention the caretaker of the houses, Hameed. He was really nice and helpful and contributed a lot in making our stay unforgetable.

Al Hambra, the fabuolus castle from the Moorish era, 120 km.

Sierra Nevada, during winter time an excellent ski resort, 160 km. Ronda, an old ancient town with an old history and a breathtaking location, 35 km.

Gibraltar cliff, the view from its top is really spectacular, 65 km

Benahavis, an old charming village climbing on the mountain slopes. The village is famous for its many cozy restaurants, 5 km

Further Details:

Supermarkets, banks, restaurants etc are available in San Pedro, Puerto Banus, Marbella and Estepona. Within walking distance, about 15 min, there are two restaurants with bars and a supermarket.

The gardener/caretaker lives next door. He speaks fluently English and is always available for clothes washing, tidying up, making the dishes and is helpful with many things.

The rental price does not include transfers from/to Malaga Airport, electricity and telephone charges.

Furthermore if more than 12 persons shall be accomodated there is an extra cost of 5 % of the listed price per person above twelve.

The so called security deposit of 600 EUR is built up by two elements:
- a damage security deposit of 300 EUR, which will be refunded in full unless an accident has occurred during the stay
- an electricity cost deposit of also 300 EUR. The actual electricity cost during the stay is calculated by reading the electric meter both at the arrival and at the departure. The balance between the electric cost deposit and the actual cost is refunded at the departure.
Note that the electric cost deposit is based on a week stay. If the stay is longer the deposit will be increased in proportion to the length of the stay.

Manager's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
