Its location is perfect for everyone those who wish to get away from it all and relax and yet with many activities and attractions close by.

About Corinne Littlewood

Jason and I have owned Tree lodge since 2007, it is our family holiday home, we love it and visit whenever we can.

I have a busy worklife and family life. I am part of a big family with 3 sisters and to press we have 4 children between us.

We enjoy famly time at the lodge and we find it a great getaway for adult time aswell.

We are only just an hour away near Manchester.

Myself and my sisters and our children go up whenever it is free, the rest of the time I spend doing jobs and keeping it just the way I like it, every year we have a project to keep it up to date.

Why Corinne Littlewood chose Windermere

The lakes are fantastic a different environment from the hustle and bustle of commercial life.

Its the perfect break for us it is the equivalent of the dessert island in the unspoilt beautiful countryside of the lake district.

Yet it is so near, only an hour for us. The lodge is situated in the prime of the Lakes you feel secluded but you have all the amenities/activities on your doorstep should you want them.

What makes this cabin unique

We think it is the best plot on the site as it is so private and you forget you are on a holiday park it feels more like an individaul lake district retreat with just us and the national park on our doorstep.

Just wanted to say we had a great time last week, the lodge and setting was fantastic, we didn't want to leave !

Had loads of days out and did plenty of hill and lake walks, boat trips, etc. Even the weather was good!

Notes on accommodation: We do not accept pets Outside: There is extensive decking surrounding the lodge. There is a large decked area as you approach the lodge and a further decked patio at the far side of the lodge. there is outdoor furniture to seat at least 6 people. All bed linen and towels are included. The lodge is cleaned at the end of your stay.

Great place to stay and beautiful area

The property is very well equipped and clean. We had a wonderful week in the lodge that had all the facilities and equipment you would need, plus more.

The park is really good and caters for all ages (my 3 year old and 9 year old both really enjoyed themselves and had plenty to do). The entertainment passes are just £15 for all of the occupants of the lodge and are valid for the whole of your stay, great value for money and well worth it.

Would certainly recommend and we will be looking to stay again soon.

Beautiful, secluded lodge, perfect for our family.

Lovely stay in this beautiful lodge. The table and chairs out the front is completely secluded, perfect for those morning cups of tea in your pyjamas. Would love to stay again.

ok not grand, stayed in better at less cost.

no wifi worth talking about, several plug sockets dont work. no water heating instructions. grubby. not what i was expecting from previous reviews and not luxury. swimming is at extra cost 15.00, not mentioned in literature. enjoyed the holiday but wont be back. oh yes steep climb to lodge if walking beware.

Owner's Response: Hi Amanda, I am so sorry to read this. I do apologise about the wifi we are experiencing a lot of problems with it, the Park are responsible for the provision of the wifi and they assure me they are doing everything they can. I was not aware of any sockets not working if you could tell me which I will get them repaired immediately. There is a 'how things work' book at the lodge that covers heating and hot water, it is a combi bolier so no separate hot water controls. In the book there are contact number for the onsite maintenance if you experience any problems or you could contact me. Grubby I'm not happy with and will take this up with our housekeeper. It was certainly not the case the last time I was there. Yes there is an additional charge to use the swimming pool £15 for the group for the duration of the stay. This is from White Cross Bay, I will add this to my literature. The Lodge is located on a hill, there is a level drive directly outside the lodge, but yes if walking there is a short or longer walk up hill, depending on which way you go. It would have been appreciated if you had given me a chance to rectify your complaints, I take pride in the lodge meeting expectation, however I am not local and rely on housekeeping staff. I shall be visiting later this week to get the back to the standard it should be in. I am pleased you still managed to enjoy your stay. Many apologies Corinne

Great property and site

Well kept and good looking property that had great facilities both in the lodge and the park. Being at the back of the park offered quieter location but further to walk to the site facilities. The pool is great and staff were really good. However you do pay extra for the pool which is £15 for the whole party for the length of the stay which isn't too bad if there's plenty of you and you are staying a reasonable length of time.

Great place!

We are just home from a fantastic stay at Tree Lodge. On arrival the heating was on and the lodge lovely and warm! A beautiful cozy lodge with everything you can need and more, we would love to return in the summer to enjoy the outside decking. The park itself is great, the kids (age 7/9/3 months) really enjoyed the swimming pool. The newly refurbished club was great, kids enjoyed the games. We ate at a lovely local restaurant - the Talbot Bar (at the Skelwith Bridge Hotel) - 10 minute drive and also had a lovely Chinese takeaway from the Golden Mountain. Walked into Windermere Bowness for a lake cruise (2hr walk!). Thanks Corinne :)
