Villa in Chateaurenard, near Avignon and St Remy Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, France - Beautiful property where you can relax and experience the true Provencal life

This 17th century, beautiful Provencal Mas is positioned on a quiet lane surrounded by fruit fields, halfway between Avignon and St Remy de Provence. As the attractive entrance gates swing open you are greeted by a lovely view of the large garden and pool. The house is sympathetically furnished in a traditional style but with the advantages of modern bathrooms and a brand new kitchen. The bedrooms are spacious, giving the flexibility for travel cots or a 'z-bed' if needed. Outside living comprises of a wonderful covered terrace providing shade and coolness, furnished with a large table and chairs, a large BBQ, and sofas for relaxing and enjoying the view.

What makes this villa unique

This property, is situated down a lane with other houses, but still is very private, the house sits in a huge green garden, beautiful shrubs and grass with a provencal style heated luxurious swimming pool.

The location is great as you have so many interesting places to visit that are so near. So many Chateau's, Churches, breathe taking landscapes, great famous antique markets, food markets, so much history too, especially with famous Artist's.

The house is like home from home!. Everything you need, especially in our brand new kitchen. You have all amenities, such as washing machines, dryers, ice machine, coffee machine and so much more.

The house boasts a large driveway, and electric gates on the entrance, with lots of space, one has a feeling of freedom.

All four bedrooms are beautifully decorated and have plenty of space for clothes to hang properly. Also the outside space is very comfortable, with a huge table to dine at, with chandelier lighting and cosy sofa seating for cocktails or pastis!

Just beautiful!

The most beautiful house and garden,with a fantastic heated pool, of which I spent most my time. Brand new fabulous kitchen with everything you need. Great fun for all our family, teens and younger. They had so much space to run around, it was heaven for them. They played in pool, badminton on the grass, boules on the big drive, even soft ball on the massive patio. Loved going to all the different markets, it became a great family day out as there is something for everyone at the markets we went to and all were no further than half an hours drive. I loved it here and we would all love very much to come back next year.

Perfect property for a family holiday

This lovely old Provencal farmhouse has been updated by the owners and is a wonderful property for a large group, with its big communal rooms and spaces outside - and the enormous garden with a swimming pool. It was clean and well maintained, with a local family on hand for any assistance and lots of guidebooks on the area.

Chateaurenard is a nice town within walking distance, with lots of restaurants and all the shops you might need, and the house is midway between historic and buzzing Avignon and the stunning market town of St Remy. We went swimming in the river at the Pont Du Gard and to the beach near Marseilles, which is only an hour away. There was so much to do every day - and it was lovely place to return to.
