2 bedroom apartment within walking distance of restaurants, WIFI, lake views and private garden. Sleeps 4.

This is a lovely 2 bedroom apartment in campino, near stresa, with absolutely wonderful lake views. The property was completely refurnished in a modern, contemporary style at the end of 2011. Guests staying at the property are treated to incredible views of lake maggiore and the borromean islands. It will be hard to drag yourself away from the terrace and gardens to go and do some sightseeing, however, when you do, you will find that the property is ideally placed for exploring the area. Boats leave from the lakeside at baveno and stresa taking you all around the lake. There are also 2 restaurants within walking distance, one of which also has wonderful lake views!

About Jo Mackay

I am a mother with 2 young children, age 9 & 12 and a very busy husband! I gave up work with Procter and Gamble 9 years ago to spend time at home with the children. I have loved being able to spend so much time with them. However, with both children now at school, I was keen to start working again. I initially enjoyed managing two of our own holiday properties in the Italian Lakes which we bought in 2008 and 2009 following our first visit to the area in 2007. However, I have now started to manage holiday homes for others, not just in the Italian Lakes, but elsewhere in Italy through my website - I carefully select each property and ensure that I maintain that personal but professional service level that I believe holidaymakers are looking for.

Notes on accommodation: Inside the property is set over one level. Completely refubished at the end of 2011, it is decorated in neutral tones, but the owner has cleverly added wonderful splashes of colour through the fixtures and fittings. There is a large open plan kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is brand new and is well equipped with everything guests could want or need during their stay. A breakfast bar is a perfect place for breakfast whilst there is also a dining table seating six for more formal dining. Adjacent to this room is a living area with comfortable corner sofa and TV, perfect for a lazy evening in! There are two bedrooms, both with double beds. The master bedroom is a good size with plenty of wardrobe space and a chest of drawers. A hairdryer is provided for guests to use during their stay. And finally, there is a bathroom with shower, bidet, sink and toilet. Outside: Outside, the property has a large terrace with phenomenal lake views. Steps lead down from the terrace to a garden with lawn and shrubs. The lawn is ideal for children to play on, or for adults to spend long, lazy days in the sunshine! There is plenty of outdoor seating, ideal for al fresco dining including a teak dining table and chairs. A BBQ is provided for guests to use. There are also 2 comfortable loungers, a sun umbrella, 2 single deckchairs and 1 double deck chair. For those with a car, there is a private parking space at the property. Utility Room: There is a washing machine in the property, along with an iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are provided. The property is thoroughly cleaned ahead of your stay. Additional cleaning can be provided during your stay on request. Please ask for more details.
