About Lesley Robinson

Stuart & Lesley purchased Garramarsh Farm in September 2015, which has fulfilled a long held dream to live in Devon. We have been married for 38 years & have 3 grown up children & 2 grandchildren.

We are both originally from Buckinghamshire where we ran a family owned construction company. We were lucky enough to exit these stressful jobs & escape to Devon

We look forward to welcoming you & will do our very best to make your stay enjoyable.

Why Lesley Robinson chose North Devon

We purchased Garramarsh Farm because it was absolutely perfect for us. It is in a place we love & somewhere that we hope our guests will enjoy too. North Devon is a very special place. We have Exmoor & the beach more or less on our doorstep. Garramarsh is in a quiet, secluded location with wonderful views, & yet only 5 minutes from the amenities of South Molton

What makes this cottage unique

A holiday at Garramarsh Farm offers you the peace and quiet of the gorgeous Devon countryside and private river fishing on site. Yet our cosy secluded cottages are just a short car ride from the small bustling market town of South Molton. A local cattle market is held each month & also a weekly farmers market on a Thursday morning. The Panier market is held on Thursday & Saturday

Lovely cottage, lovely location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a few weeks as we're moving into the area, and couldn't have found a better base. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped, and the owners very friendly and welcoming.

Thank you Stuart and Lesley for making our stay so enjoyable.

The property was exactly as described, very rural yet accessible to several largish towns and beach

  • 5 of 5

The property is very clean and tidy and well maintained.

The owners are extremely pleasant and helpful, pointing us in the right direction for a variety of places to see, things to do and different ways to entertain 5 children.

Excellant Mole Cottage

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a week at the beginning of June and found Mole Cottage to be everything we could have wanted. It was well equipped with all that we needed and more as we did not need to use the washing machine and dryer. We found the cottage to be very clean, having in the past needed to clean before we started our holiday but with Mole Cottage we did not need to do anything like that.

The cottage had views over the hills, with a stream nearby and a very picturesque drive through the village of Alswear to reach it. The local town of South Molton was only about 3miles away and was a very nice country town with a weekly market. This area was also well placed to visit most of Devon, being near the middle of the county.

We found Lesley and Stuart very welcoming and they were able to supply us with fresh eggs.

A great stay

  • 5 of 5

This was a great place for my son and I to stay after some long walks. It was a well equipped and comfortable cottage in a very peaceful setting. We received a very warm welcome from Sandra and Mick who made us feel very much at home. When down in Devon we will certainly return.
