The property was exactly what i was going for and better- lots of space and great facilities!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for my sisters hen do and i could not have picked a better place. The bedrooms, kitchen, conservatory and garden amongst other things were brilliant. Hot tubs were great- perfect place for a big hen and easy taxi into Bath central- 15 mins! Barbecue was ideal and worked well, lots of space for games in the garden and lovely lounge to chill in the evening. Easy access into the property and very secure which was great. Rebecca was very easy to get hold of and i wouldn't hesitate to book this place again. Perfect weekend, my sister loved it. The other hens were also very impressed.

Lovely, very well equipped house close to Bath

  • 4 of 5

We stayed at Shockerwick Lodge for 4 days over the Easter holidays - a family of 14 ages ranging from 6 to 77 years - the house was furnished beautifully and was very well equipped - our 3 grandsons were in their element staying in the log cabin and it was difficult getting them out sometimes!! The huge conservatory was brilliant with the big table and we could all sit comfortably round it - I have only given a rating of 4 due to being surprised the house is so close to a busy main road which was quite noisy if you were sleeping in the front bedroom - this might not be a problem at the weekend - also the hot tub was leaking and we had to fill it up regularly - there was a lack of double beds as I think the house is used a lot by hen parties - but these are only minor niggles!

Absolutely perfect!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for my sisters hen do and it was brilliant! To organise a weekend for 18 people and keep it a suprise was hard going but this house was perfect! Everything we needed was there and the communication from Becci was brilliant.

I have never booked anything through homeaway before and was a little apprehensive about sending funds to the owner direct but it was all in hand with Becci and would love to visit again!

What a fantastic stay!

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed in Rebecca's home for our friend's hen do. We all absolutely loved the house which was decorated beautifully and was absolutely perfect for our needs. Before we arrived, Rebecca was really friendly and helpful, and answered any questions we had about our stay. The house had everything we needed and all we had to bring was our own bath towels. The house was just a 20 minute taxi ride from Bath which enabled us to go into the city for an evening. The rest of the time we happily spent in the house or the garden which was beautiful and massive and comes with two hot tubs. They weren't the warmest but they were lovely for an evening dip in the cold weather! Everyone absolutely loved the house and all we need now is an excuse to come back!

Amazing property

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect hen do house. Set in beautiful surroundings Becci’s property was perfect for a weekend away with the girls. Enough space to sleep 16 and the hot tubs and garden area make it extra special. Becci was a great host and answered any questions I had. I would recommend this place to any large groups who are looking for a weekend away.
