About this property

Our 4 bedroom miller house (new Heating AC - 2016) comprises on the ground floor a large lounge with open fireplace, farmhouse kitchen, dining room, bathroom. The first floor has 2 double bedrooms, main bedroom has a queen double and the other a king double, stacking twin beds in third bedroom to accommodate 2 more people and bunk beds in forth bedroom. All rooms have original beams. There is both a covered front terrace overlooking the 10 x 5 new pool (march 2016) and "beach" and rear terrace, with gazebo, running the full length of the house offering a 360 degree panoramic view. The property sits on a large, fully fenced, 5000 square meters plot with olive, almond and citrus trees with its' own double-gated entrance. Pets welcome for free. Reversible Air Conditioning. Pool 10 x 5m . Parking place and Carport.

Super property, great location

We had a fabulous relaxing 10 day stay in September at this gorgeous rustic house. Very well equipped, comfy beds, loads of space inside and out. Two great terraces which you could sit either for sunrise or sunset (or to avoid the breeze on chilly evenings). It's fairly well out in the sticks so it's a place for relaxing away from it all. The pool is fabulous, and the sandy beach area really cool. Lots of walks and stunning views. Small limited mini market in the village but that's it so stock up in a nearby town for food & drink. As a previous review mentioned, there is the very occasional loud 'boom' from a local quarry which was good to know but it didn't interrupt our stay. Thomas was incredibly helpful, nothing was too much trouble, thank you! We are returning to the area for a month over Christmas (we'd already booked somewhere else) but would definitely stay here again.

Idyllic

Lovely location and property. Wonderful outside space and large pool. Set in a village location with mountains all around and simply the sounds of nature, goat bells gently ringing ,cockerels crowing and birds singing ... just bliss. House well equipped with everything you could need full of character and charm. Explored the Cabo de Gato beautiful beaches and coves ,great for snorkelling and walking. Very hard leaving to return to rain and storms.

Great house, everything you need

My family and I stayed here for a week in March and we highly recommend anyone else to use it. The correspondence with owner was easy and all questions answered timely. Instructions received for the house were easy to read and follow and I had them in plenty of time before my visit. The location of the house is literally minutes from the motorway on easy to drive roads and it's in a lovely area with amazing views. The bigger areas of Vera, Garrucha and Huercal-Overa can be reached within 30 ish minutes and have loads of supermarkets and shops to chose from. The house itself is beautiful, very clean and well equipped, we had everything we needed for our stay here and although there was only 4 of us it can easily accommodate many more. The reversible air conditioning came in very handy at night as it still got a bit on the chilly side and it heated all the rooms quickly. The living room was very comfortable and even had sky tv channels to watch, not that we were inside very much. The kitchen was very clean and had everything we needed including a large dishwasher which was a blessing on a lazy week in the sun. There were 2 seating areas inside the house so more than enough space for everyone. The bedrooms were large, enough storage space and the beds and pillows were really comfy and towels were provided. Both bathrooms were very clean and the showers were fab. Outside space is just great with amazing views we used the rear terrace the most as it was virtually wind free and had the glorious sunshine most of the afternoon, there was plenty of outside comfortable seating. The pool is lovely albeit cold in March but not that cold to stop my 82 yard old gran having a couple of dips during the hotter days. The pool will be a godsend in mid summer or if you are visiting with children. The pool man / gardener visited everyday and was friendly and certainly not intrusive in anyway. We were looking to have a relaxing week in the sun and this is exactly what we got and the house was just as the pictures look and a great choice. I would highly recommend this property to anyone else and can't thank the owners enough for allowing us to use it. They have clearly put in a lot of effort in maintaining it and making sure there is everything you need, it really is a home from home and suited our needs perfectly.
