About Jacqueline

We are a Brighton-based couple proud to present our themed holiday cottage. We have lived here 14 years so can advise objectively on local restaurants and things to do. We want you to enjoy your stay in this brilliant city as much as we enjoy it. That's why we ended up moving here!

Why Jacqueline chose Brighton

We LOVE this 16th century cottage and it's amazing location, right by the sea, shops and bars. You can't beat it! We walked past it many times and heard about it's heritage in one of the many Brighton Guided Tours, never dreaming we would one day own it. When the opportunity presented itself we grabbed it and have thoroughly enjoyed renovating it and working with local interior designer, Julia Harding, to create this sophisticated wonderland boutique accommodation.

What makes this house unique

You won't need to worry about budgeting for taxi fares as this property is slap bang in the middle of all the action whilst still being tucked away. You can roll out of bed and onto the beach in minutes. The luxury finishings mean you get a boutique experience with the exclusivity of your own place.

Me and my friends stayed here for a short break and it was perfect! The Alice in Wonderland theme is fab and really adds some extra charm to the holiday. The house is right on the seafront, surrounded by restaurants and just a short walk into the main town and the lanes. Couldn't ask for better!

Notes on accommodation: There is no dining room, but with the best of Brighton's restaurants on your doorstep you really won’t want to stay in to cook, there is everything you need for preparing a simple meal or takeaway on laps. Jamie Oliver's Italian is only around the corner. The very best of Brighton's restaurants are all on your doorstep! As the house is in such a central location, a car is not necessary to enjoy the city- all the major attractions are accessible on foot. While there is no car-parking space with the property there is a large multi-story car-park in the adjacent street. The property is right in the city centre so easily approached by public transport. There is always a great queue of taxi's outside the train station- the fare around £5 to the house. Outside: The house in no smoking but there is a pretty south facing patio terrace with seating & table for enjoying a coffee or glass of bubbly in the sunshine! Cleaning / Towels / Linen are provided: Fluffy white towels and luxury linens included Other: The Looking Glass Room: Sleeps 2 in twin beds, wash stand & mirror. Flamingo Dreams: Sleeps 2 in twin beds, wash stand & mirror. The White Rose Boudoir: Sleeps 2 in a double bed, wash stand & mirror. All 3 bedrooms are sumptuous, equisite & unique!
