Apartment in Vilamoura, Central Algarve, Portugal - Quiet Relaxed Area But Only 15 Minute Walk To Shops, Restaurants, Bars, Clubs, Busy Marina And Beach

This is a stunning spacious duplex apartment, with rooms arranged over 2 floors. Its contemporary architecture is complimented by the sleek and stylish finish inside with clean white walls, granite worktops, slate floors and modern classic contemporary furniture. The 1st floor terrace is absolutely huge, bigger than a squash court! It over looks the pool area, has a built in BBQ with chimney to extract the smoke, large wooden dining table and seating for 6.

Kitchen, living/dining room, downstairs shower &w/c, 2 bedrooms and family bathroom. Each bedroom has its own terrace, and the master bedrooms terrace has stairs leading to huge roof terrace with 360 degree panoramic view! There is Air conditioning throughout the apartment. It is managed by an English contact who will meet you when you first arrive and be available via telephone should you need anything throughout your stay.

Beatifully restful stay in a lovely appartment

The Apartment and pool were perfect, Everything you could need for a chilled out break. It was a 20 minute walk to the beach and most of the restaurants which was just right for me to get a bit of exercise a few times a day! Taxis were easily available , we were going to a wedding so got taxis occasionally, but the walk is lovely. I would love to return to this apartment it was great for the money!

Super All round

Excellent. Ideal apartment and location. Really well furnished and modernised. Plenty of media options including speakers upstairs and downstairs and a host of online tv stations/ films. The bbq and open outdoor lounge area were fantastic. Duncan was there to meet me and bring me through everything being very obliging. Lee the owner was fantastic to deal with. I know where ill be staying if i go back to Vilamoura.

fantastic place

Four of us stayed in Lee's apartment and it was a perfect base for our holiday. We really couldn't fault it.

Lee and his property manager in Portugal made everything easy from start to finish.

The apartment is well equipped, clean modern and has great space inside and out. The terrace in particular is great - huge, overlooking to pool and well equipped with furniture, a BBQ, table tennis and darts.

The bedrooms are spacious, plenty of storage in the big wardrobes, comfortable beds and each has its own balcony.

A separate bathroom and shower room are convenient - no queing! Both clean and well laid out.

The living area is huge, with TV and music, plenty of seating and patio doors out onto the terrace. Really nice flow to the space, and nicely decorated.

The location is a short walk from both resorts of quarteira and Villamoura, with a couple of restaurants closer if you want to stay more local. We hired a car, which meant we could explore further afield, but if you just want to stay local, you could do without and just taxi to and from the airport. And if you don't want to walk to the marina / beach, it's less than 5 Euros in a taxi.

Loved our holiday here

Stunning apartment. We stayed here in June 2012 not 2014(website wont let me enter correct dates) for 2 weeks. One of our favourite holidays. We couldn't believe how big it was, more like a house with a spacious living and dining area. Modern kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Upstairs 2 beautiful bedrooms. Ideal location, we walked most nights to the marina where there was plenty of bars/restaurants to choose from. We also walked to the beach most days. Maintenance man was English and very welcoming, friendly. Perfect apartment, perfect holiday.

First class accomodation in the Algarve

This is a modern, spacious apartment situated in a quiet, residential area in Quarteira which fully matched the description given on the website. Vilamoura Marina and Quarteira beach are only a short walk away and there are plenty of eating places nearby. The swimming pool and table tennis helped keep our three teenage children occupied and the owner has thoughtfully provided board games, DVDs, etc. We will definitely consider returning and would happily recommend it to other families.

Lovely relaxing break

We travelled as a family of 4. Children aged 12 & 14. High points of holiday were:

1. Short transfer from Faro airport

2. Loads of parking space for hire car (went with Zitatu)

3. Excellent large apartment with all mod-cons

4. Comfortable beds

5. Large balcony area with room to play ping-pong!

6. Eating out and BBQs on said balcony

7. Lovely big, clean pool - which we had to ourselves

8. Very quiet 'condominium' due to empty apartments - bonus for us

9. Convenient location near to Vilamoura (we drove there)

10. Satellite TV allowed us to watch athletics world champs

11. Property manager helpful

12. Loads of restaurants close by but we preferred BBQ fish on balcony!

13. Excellent flight times with Easyjet from Liverpool

14. Owner - friendly, reliable and easy to deal with

From the Owner

After years of searching for the right place in Spain and not finding anything, I started to look at Portugal, I instantly fell in love with the place, everything is so clean, and the grass and trees are green and being irrigated properly, unlike the brown landscape of so much of Spain, I felt like it was home from home. Vilamoura in particular is stunning, its nicknamed the millionaires playground, and you really do feel like you are a part of something special when you are there, and although you are surrounded by beautiful Yachts worth millions, the price of food&drink is still very reasonable and affordable for everyone! The beaches are clean and you can find quiet time away from the crowds just as easy as you can find busy, buzzing nightlife and an all round great atmosphere.

Special interest holidays:

The Algarve has something to offer everyone, with its natural beauty, and wealth of history. There are many places of interest to visit, and plenty of variety when eating out or looking for entertainment. It is well worth exploring the coastline and embracing the culture of the many quaint little fishing villages. The local dish is ‘Cataplana’, a mixed seafood platter which is delicious! Or why not travel a little bit inland and get to see a little of the traditional, rustic village life of that of the local farmers and fruit growers?

Down in the marina you can find boat trips a plenty including sightseeing trips to local tourist spots, go dolphin and whale watching, try water sports like jet skiing, parascending and deep sea fishing, even big game fishing. There are many sporting facilities located here. Soccer and tennis are very popular, and there is also a shooting range.


3 minute drive or 15 minute walk to beaches, Quartiera and Vilamoura beaches are beautiful and you can walk or cycle from one to the other.


This apartment is only 25 minutes from Faro airport. I recommend using Zitauto car rental, They are by far the cheapest and the best service, they meet you at the airport and there is no need to pay any deposit or have your credit card scanned, you simply hand over the cash and they give you the keys!! (Google Zitauto to find website)


You can get to all amenities including beach and marina in 3 minutes with a car....

Or you can walk to Vilamoura 'Old village' where there is some lovely buildings,shops and restaurants (15minutes)

Walk into Quarteira town where there are loads of shops, bars and restaurants and beautiful prominade (15 minutes)

And walk to Vilamoura marina or beach where there is an abundance of wonderful bars, restaurants and clubs (15 minutes)

Further Details:

Aquashow (Aquapark) is only 2 mins drive away which is great fun for all the family.

There is an abundance of watersports, sightseeing trips and fishing trips available from the marina, or if you fancy a quiet night in then there is a good selection of DVD's and books at the apartment for adults and children of all ages.

There are also some board games including Cranium, monopoly, scrabble, connect 4, snakes & ladders, ludo, pass the pigs and playing cards!!

A welcome pack including Tea, coffee, milk, juice, bread, crisps and a bottle of wine will be waiting for you upon arrival, just in case its late when you get there so that you can relax after your travel without needing to go shopping already!!

This property is in a quiet position, away from noise and crowds, but it is still close enough to walk to a beach, bar, restaurant and busy marina. The fact that it is so spacious also means there is room to get some quiet time even from your own family too!! Each room has its own terrace, and the roof terrace is amazing, I can sit up there for hours quite happily drinking wine, soaking up the sunshine and admiring the views! The lower terrace is great for entertaining, its so big, with built in BBQ and dining table and chairs, there is also table tennis and dart board, here the kids can play safely while the adults sit around and relax while tending to the BBQ. The weather is great most of the year round which is a welcome break from the rainy UK!

  • Notes on accommodation: The entrance hall leads to the living/dining room, downstairs shower, w/c and kitchen. The stairs lead to the 2 bedrooms & family bathroom. The apartment is very well furnished with modern classic and retro furniture, and equipped with brand new modern appliances. The living room patio doors & the kitchen door both lead to a huge outside terrace. The terrace looks over the pool and is ideal for eating outside, as there is a built in BBQ with flue. There is also an outside tap and washing line. Upstairs, the large family bathroom has a shower, whirlpool bath, toilet, bidet and a large wash basin. The Master Bedroom has a 'ziplock' double bed which can be separated into 2 single beds. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with lots of space. Each bedroom has a door to it's own terrace, the Master Bedroom's terrace has a stairway leading to the huge roof terrace which has views over Vilamoura and Quarteira, including a view of the sea. Outside: In the grounds of the complex there are small well kept gardens and pretty bushes and trees that surround the shared pool. There are showers by the pool and there is also a toddlers pool. There are sunloungers by the pool. There are also fold up sunloungers at the apartment that you can use on the roof terrace or take to the beach, they are very lightweight and portable. GAMES ROOM>>> There is a table tennis table on the first floor terrace and a dart board to keep family entertained day and night! Utility Room: Storage under the stairs has a pushchair, sunloungers, mop/bucket, ironing board etc. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and Linen are provided and maid service is weekly which is included in the rental price. Additional maid visits are possible but this is charged extra. Other: There is free wifi at the apartment which you can connect to using the password provided,so if you want to use your laptop or phone data at least you won't incur heavy data roaming charges! There is also a safe provided for guests' use.
