We have just spent our 3rd summer at Sunnyside cottage and are returning next year. It is well situated, well equipped, comfortable and very clean, a real home from home, which is why we love it so much!

Just returned from Sunnyside Cottage.Beautiful, clean cottage. Well equipped with everything you might need and more! Well placed for all the delights of West Cornwall.

Annie & Steve from Baldock, Hertfordshire

We were lucky to be able to stay at Sunnyside for a second time. It is a lovely, warm, and friendly house in a stunning position overlooking St Michael's Mount. You can even see the sea from your bed! The main centre of Marazion is only a short walk downhill, with shops and some good places to eat. We enjoyed walking on the many coastal paths and returning to the cozy cottage to relax. It is a truly delightful house in a great setting and we can recommend it to anyone.

It has been 20 years since we last visited Cornwall. However following the addition of Kevin the westie to our family in November we decided to for go the stress of flying in favour of a staycation. I am so glad we did. Sunniside cottage is a perfect gem in a beautiful spot overlooking St Michaels Mount. The cottage is lovely both inside and out and a real credit to the owner and to Mrs Robinson the housekeeper. After an 8 hour journey it was a delight to find tea and coffee making facilities and 4 gorgeous home made scones with jam and clotted cream. Delicious and really appreciated. Cornwall is beautiful and we have decided that we would eventually like to retire there. We had great weather for 2 weeks, walked many a gorgeous mile along the south west coastal paths and ate some great food! Can not recommend enough thank you

Wonderful Stay

We had a very relaxing stay in Sunnyside Cottage Marazion The property is well located for the beach, coast path and local amenities in Marazion Very comfortable accommodation, clean and tidy, well thought layout to property. Also another bonus was the car parking space at rear of the cottage, Space for two small cars, or a MPV we drive a Volkswagen Sharan and parked with ease.

Sunnyside Marazion

  • 5 of 5

An excellent clean cottage with plenty of space for a family and with all the modern conveniences. The views across to the mount and sea are excellent and its located perfectly within the village to have a nice walk down and enjoy the area. We had a great week touring around and its an ideal base for all locations.

The accommodation was immaculate when we arrived and is very well equipped, it was nice for us to have a holiday with all the home comforts available. The cottage is a credit to the owner and the housekeeper and when we arrived it was spotless with tea making facilities left ready.

The contact with the owner was quick and simple and the deposit was returned straight away. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing break.

Lovely Cottage, amazing views

  • 4 of 5

This was a lovely cottage with amazing views in an ideal location for exploring this area of Cornwall. Plenty of nice restaurants and selection of corner shops nearby.

Cottage was nicely decorated and had everything you needed including treats for your dog! Did have steep steps out the back up to the terrace and garden so may not be ideal for young children or elderly. Otherwise I highly recommend.

Facilities

From the Owner

We fell in love with Sunnyside straight away because it has everything we wanted. Fabulous sea views, a view of St Michael's Mount, a large enclosed decked terrace for BBQs and a lawned garden. There is parking too which lots of cottages in Marazion don't have. It's great to be able to walk down into the town and to the beach and there is a lovely pub where you can sit outside and watch the people walking across the causeway to the Mount at low tide. There is plenty to do and see in west Cornwall too, The Tate Gallery at St Ives, Flambards Theme Park, Lands End, The Minack Theatre, The Eden Project and you can even take the seaplane or boat over to the Isles of Scilly from Penzance which is only a few minutes away.
