Penthouse on Burriana Beach, Nerja, Costa del Sol - Perfect Location On Burriana Beach

This 2nd floor Penthouse is on the front-line of the award-winning Burriana Beach. Its south-facing terrace has great views, and enjoys uninterrupted sun from dawn to dusk. Burriana has a great choice of restaurants, bars and shops, and is also only a 10 minute walk of Nerja's charming town centre. On street parking is available outside and there is also allocated underground parking for one car. There is a lift in the building. The apartment has three bedrooms, one double and two twins with lounge sofa bed. There is a full bathroom plus a further shower room, the kitchen is fully fitted with electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine. There is also air-conditioning providing heat in the winter and cooling in the summer. The apartment has an open plan living/dining room that opens out onto a terrace equipped with patio furniture, which overlooks Burriana Beach, the sea and surrounding area, a wonderful place to enjoy the sun, eat and enjoy a glass of Sangria!

For the technology fans, the apartment also has WiFI as well as UK Internet TV. You can even bring movies/TV programs on a USB memory stick and play them directly on the TV.

This is our second time at the penthouse, we looked at other apartments but they just didn't match the luxury, size, space and the fantastic position that the penthouse holds.

We couldn't give this place enough stars

One word sums it up - Excellent

We have just returned after 2 weeks in this apartment. It was our first experience of booking via Owner's Direct and will not be the last as we have already booked this apartment again for next year.

Everything was as described. It is a very large 3 double bed penthouse apartment with the best position on the best beach in Nerja. 1 bed has aircon, the other 2 are north facing with shutters and fans but were relatively cool. The air-conditioned living area is very large and the internet TV with access to the main BBC/ITV channels was good if you wanted it - we didn't except to get the EU referendum result!

We know the area well having always previously stayed in villas around the nearby beautiful town of Frigilliana rented via Thomson. Before arriving; we had concerns about evening/night noise but there was none at all except for the Festival of San Juan on one evening. However the apartment gave us the best seats in the house for the firework display.

The south facing balcony is ideal and perfect for sitting with a glass of something watching the sea and beach area or just relaxing and reading. An awning provides shade from the sun which was literally on the balcony through to approx. 5.00 p.m.

We had a hire car but most people in other apartments did not and really you do not need one. It has the benefit of the guaranteed garaged car parking space and the car was always cool and secure and, if required we could come and go as we pleased. It is a short walk in to the centre of Nerja which we did most days and indeed we did a 5 mile walk to the nearby small town of Maro virtually every day, first thing in the morning, for exercise. Walks are not on the flat, it must be said, but anyone without a car can find everything they need down at the beach including a small supermarket and a good cocktail bar that also sells Guinness, newspapers and many good places to eat and drink.

I cannot speak highly enough of this apartment and all my dealings with the owner and the local agent who manages the property and were extremely helpful. Excellent sums it up.

Spacious & perfectly situated, great apt

Apartment was very spacious - lovely large balcony with great facilities directly opposite the beach. Building and apartment itself was very well maintained with plentiful equipment and nice décor etc. Great position near restaurants and beach.

Great location

Great location with views over the beach and near lots of good restaurants. Large Apartment which was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The balcony is fantastic for just watching the world go by, with a dinning table, sun beds and a comfy suite. We would definitely return.

Fabulous location, lovely appartment

Large, airy appartment with huge terrace overlooking the whole of Burriana beach. Comfortable furniture and we really appreciated the sofa and chairs on the terrace because for five weeks we enjoyed warm and sunny weather. Very clean and tidy. Constant hot water and excellent heating for the evenings when the sun had gone down. Love the location close to all the bars and restaurants and our absolute favourite beach bar Playa y Sol. Amazingly quiet but in the heart of things. Easy walk up the hill into Nerja

towns and our favourite bar restaurants there the Mar Bella and Fusion, so the best of both worlds! Would wholeheartedly recommend this appartment to anyone and an added bonus is that the property manager responded within minutes when we had a problem with the shutter in the bedroom. Definitely an appartment with the WOW factor!

Best apartment on Burriana Beach

We have been taking family holidays to Nerja/Burriana Beach for a number of years now and this apartment is without doubt, the best we have stayed in by far on Burriana Beach. The location is very central on the front line and has panoramic views out over the sea and coastline.

Its fully air conditioned so its always nice and cool after a hot day on the beach, and you don't have to put vast numbers of coins in an electric meter like many other apartments seem to have these days! The apartment itself is always clean, fresh and tidy, and is comprehensively equipped, and with all mod cons such as (british!) TV, washing machine, free WIFI etc etc. The terrace is huge, and I hear newly furnished with wicker sofas etc now. Everything is always included with no unexpected local supplements to pay. I believe there is also a garage to use to park your car although we've never used it.

There are lots and lots of local restaurants on the doorstep offering an enormous variety of different foods, and the beautiful typical Spanish town of Nerja is only a few minutes walk away.

We normally book directly with Steve, and he is usually highly accommodating on any request. We nearly always ask for minor date changes so we can take advantage of cheaper flights and for an early arrival because of our young family. I'm sure its not always possible, but so far, he's always managed to do exactly as we requested. And never charged a penny extra!

My wife also left her watch in the apartment without realising - the first we new about it was when we received an email from Steve to ask if we'd lost one!

First class and thoroughly recommended.

Incredible location and Nerja is the best town on the Costa del Sol bar none. All of the facilities and climate but sensible prices and none of the raucous "lager lout" culture found round Marbella/Puerto Banus and that end of the coast.

The beach is about 50m in front of the property. About a 2 minute walk into the sea itself!

With more hours of sunshine than just about anywhere else in Europe, villa holidays in the Costa del Sol have always been a popular choice. From Gibraltar to Nerja this is a wonderful stretch of coastline that majors on chic resorts and great beaches.

Naturally our villa holidays are all about flexibility, and our superbly appointed villas allow easy access to resorts like Puerto Banus and Fuengirola as well as "must see" sites like the Alhambra in Granada, picturesque Mijas and the grand city of Seville. There again, one of our villa holidays is all about relaxation so you might find it difficult to tear yourself away from your private pool! But, for those with a wanderlust to satisfy, the Moroccan city of Tangiers is well worth a trip.

So, if your idea of the perfect villa holiday includes great beaches, good golf courses and Riviera resorts then the Costa del Sol should be just the ticket
