About the Owner
I went on a golfing holiday to the Algarve 4 years ago and fell in love with the people and the area. Two years later I decided the area had everything I wanted in a holiday, good food and night life (whether lively or quiet), fantastic golf and of course wonderful weather and decided to buy an apartment in a new development, Monte da Eira.

“Monte da Eira is finished to a very high standard, built in a quiet residential area at the top end of the “Strip”. My apartment has a large terrace with views of the countryside to the north and overlooking the pool and landscaped gardens with a sea view to the south. It is within easy walking distance to all restaurants, bars and shops, with a bus or “train” ride a short distance from the beautiful cobble stoned streets of the Old Town with its bars, fantastic fish restaurants and shops. Activity and Interests
There are many beautiful coves/beaches in and around Albufeira. The nearest beach is at the bottom of the “Strip” (25 min walk), with many small beautiful white sanded coves along the coast.
Faro airport is approximately 30 miles drive from Albufeira. Car hire, bus or taxi transfers are all available from the airport, preferably prebooked. The N125 is about 5 mins drive from Monte da Eira giving easy access to the motorway going east to the airport or west towards Giua, Albufeira’s main shopping centre.
A map of the local area outlining positions of shops, cash machines, chemists, etc will be available to guests. Also, in the apartment, there are information leaflets for many attractions which can be found in Albufeira and the surrounding area including Zoo Marine, Aqua Park, Slide and Splash, Golf Courses, Watersports (para-gliding, jetski hire, etc), Deepsea Fishing, Sunset Cruises, Dolphin searching, Scuba diving, etc.

A £100 deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance to be paid 10 weeks before arrival. A £100 deposit is required against breakages/damages, which will be returned within one week of departure.
