Great place for a friends and family gathering

  • 5 of 5

We had a group of 19 aged 20 to 60 and the chateau had all we required for a great stay. Games, badminton, boules, swimming, volleyball (we provided ball) table tennis etc. No problem cooking for this size party and the weather allowed us to enjoy our evening meals on the terrace. Various trips to beaches, vineyards and towns were all within 80 minutes drive. The caretaker, Richard was very helpful. All in all a great place to celebrate my 60th birthday.

Beautiful, well equipped house. Fantastic place.

  • 5 of 5

We were a group of 5 families with young children. The house was brilliantly equipped for young children with 3 highchairs and cots which were great quality. There were also quite a few toys and games in the house, and the pool alarm and "child lock" gate meant it was very safe.

The house itself was beautiful and so spacious. The garden was immaculate and the kitchen (although small) had everything needed, plus extra fridges and freezers in the cellar. All the little things had been thought of.

One other good thing were the local property managers who were beyond brilliant and so helpful.

The only downside was the local bar was closed which was a disappointment but nothing to do with the house. The bakery (2mins walk) was fantastic though.

Amazing house for big summer holiday with friends

  • 5 of 5

Myself and 15 friends stayed here for our annual summer holiday in France.

The weather was mostly gorgeous which meant we spent the majority of our time outside. The pool was a group favourite, as well as the hot tub in the evenings and the table tennis was an added bonus. The one day it did rain we had lots of fun indoors with the range of board games provided.

The house had everything we could ask for and more. Can't wait to book our next stay!

Absolutely lovely place for a reunion getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Me and a few friends had a little reunion getaway here and it was perfect! Nice and idyllic but located within a village which provided all the food and drink we needed. The chateau was beautiful and definitely had enough space for all of us and there was lots of entertainment from the table tennis and board games to the pool and the jacuzzi! Had a brilliant time, would definitely recommend.

Amazing house, great for big family celebration!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a family celebration and were extremely happy with our stay. The rooms are all good size and the house works well for a large group. We particularly loved the dining area as we all 20 of us could eat together. The pool, hot tub and garden were also enjoyed by everyone. Although we didn't need him during our stay, Richard made it clear that we could contact him whenever we needed to. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to any large group or family looking for a getaway in a beautiful property!

Location

From the Owner

We saw the chateau from the outside and fell in love with it. In fact we bought it without even going inside! We love the area, rural but not far from the sea, we like being in a village with a bar and bakers. It is a great house for groups - different generations of one family - or groups of friends. There are tennis courts and a football pitch in the village that guests can use free of charge - and in the cellar of the property, there is table tennis and table football.

Facilities

From the Owner

The chateau has a wow factor, lots of period features - everyone loves it. It is a great house with lots of space - so you never feel on top of one another even when there are 22 of you. The roof terrace, with it's views of the 12th century church, village and vineyards beyond, is a lovely place to relax with a glass of wine before dinner. Our favourite spot.
