Apartment in Calpe, Calpe Area, Costa Blanca North, Spain - Located At Foot Of The Penon D'ifach, Close To The Marina And A 20 Minute Walk To Town.

One-bedroom apartment on the 5th floor of Edificio Voramar, which is located on Levante beach, at the foot of the Penon d'Ifach. A short walk up the Penon offers beautiful views south to Benidorm and north to Moraira. The apartment overlooks the sea and the Penon, and there are numerous beach-side restaurants and bars to be enjoyed. The marina, with its famous open-air fish restaurants is a short stroll away, and from here you can continue walking along the promenade to the town in about 20 minutes. The old town offers many interesting restaurants, tapas bars and shops, and a colourful Saturday market. A car is not essential, as coastal towns can be easily reached by bus or train. There is a bus-stop outside Voramar, for transport to the town and railway station. There is a small supermarket opposite (open 9 to 9 daily) and larger ones a short drive/walk away.

Notes on accommodation: Pets cannot be accommodated, and guests are requested to smoke only on the terrace. Outside: There are three pools - small, medium and large -which are situated in a garden area. The pools can only be accessed by occupants of Voramar. Sun loungers are provided for the terrace, and guests are welcome to take them to the pool area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen : Bedlinen, towels and tea towels provided, but no beach towels.

Beautiful location

Very easy process, lovely apartment in a fantastic spot with beautiful views over the sea, the beach directly below is the best in calpe! Absolutely stunning. The owner had left us milk, bread,butter orange juice and bottled water, which was a very nice touch. This is a lovely little apartment well maintained and lovely and clean, great pools on site too and I'd definatley stay here again.

Delightful apartment with plenty of room for two

We enjoyed our stay in this holiday apartment. We think it is a clean, cheerfully decorated, delightful apartment with plenty of room for two. We really appreciated the provision of milk, tea, coffee and other sundries; which of course were welcome after our journey. We would be delighted to

stay there again in future.

No nonsense charging policy (i.e. electricity/post-let cleaning included in price)

(not sure what the star rating signifies so we can't think of a reason not to give 5).

Car: not necessary


The apartment is situated on Levante beach and a short walk away, on the south side of the Penon, is Arena Bol beach, the length of which can be walked to reach the town.


Calpe is approximately one hour's drive from Alicante airport. However, a car is not essential as there is a bus route from the airport to Calpe (at a very low cost).


Altea and Moraira are about 15 minutes drive, Benidorm (with Terra Mitica and Aqualandia theme parks) about 20 minutes and Denia (where you can get a ferry to the Balearic Islands) about 30 minutes. All of these towns can be easily reached by public transport.

Further Details:

There are numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance, and a supermarket opposite the apartment which is open 9 am to 9 pm daily (half day Sunday). The natural beauty of the Penon can be enjoyed and a short walk up offers beautiful views of Moraira to the north and Benidorm to the south. The top of the Penon can be reached for the more energetic, and from the Marina there is a promenade along the base of the rock. There is a coastal footpath from the end of Levante beach to Les Bassetes, where you will be able to windsurf or hire a catamaran. Calpe is within driving distance of a range of golf courses, although its nearest is the well established Club de Golf Ifach, located on the road towards Moraira.

Changeover Day:
The apartment will be available from 4 pm and guests are asked to vacate by 10 am on day of departure. However, these times are flexible, depending on other bookings, as are changeover days.

Notes on prices:
Prices are in GBP for one week. Rental not available for periods of less than seven days. For use of the garage, there will be an additional charge of £15 per week. However, please note that, due to restricted access, this will only accommodate a small car.
