This beautiful penthouse apartment is 2 minutes walk to Sawbridgeworth mainline station station. From here you can get to London Liverpool Street in 45 minutes, London Stratford/Westfield , in 47 minutes and Cambridge city center in 30 minutes. London Stansted airport is just 15 minutes by train. Its a great base to explore the South East of England from one single week up to one month available. Whether you are visiting England and wish to see London and the home counties, this is an ideal short let apartment. The apartment is suitable for a couple or small family family, having one large double bedroom plus a sofa bed in the lounge. The modern bathroom is very spacious with both bath and shower cubicle. Guests will have all the comforts of home including TV, DVD, TV recorder, ipod player and internet service. There is a microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The furnishings are all new and of excellent standard. Security entrance via carpeted hallways similar to 4 star hotel. Balcony with far reaching views. The apartment is twice the size of a typical one bedroom apartment and much larger than most 2 beds. It has a separate dining room and kitchen so the lounge always looks lovely and tidy. there is free unlimited wifi and a TV HD catch up/on demand TV system so you don't have to miss your favourite programmes. The spacious bathroom has a bath with shower attachment and there is a seperate shower enclosure. There are plenty of takeaway food shops and cafes within easy walking distance (just next to the river Stort is the Maltings) You can walk into the village in 8 minutes. Best Chinese for Miles! also great Indian and too many pubs to mention

Beautiful apartment

Fantastic property, very comfortable and a joy to stay.

Everything is close by and the owner strives to ensure everything is catered for in the flat. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a break, saw bridgeworth is a lovely little village, excellent customer service from Jill.

We found this apartment brilliant, it has everything you would need for a great stay!. we spent a month while waiting for an apartment to be ready!.. We have just returned from abroad, so our review is late!.

We would recommend this apartment to families, couples, singles, we also met a few locals who were very kind & helpful.. Railway station is 3 mins walk, lovely garden with pond!. Bishop Stotrford, Harlow are not more that 20 mins away!!.. Sawbridgeworth is a lovely country town with tea shops.....

Our Home from Home

We stayed in this apartment for a few months whilst waiting for our new house to be built. We absolutely loved our stay. The apartment is modern and well cared for, bathroom is huge and the kitchen was really spacious and had everything we could possibly need. The balcony is also lovely for sitting out on a pleasant afternoon. The neighbours were all very kind and welcoming, parking was never a problem and as the train station is right by the front door, its great for getting to London. (Though I should mention you never hear the trains as its a really peaceful apartment)

The local pub is great for watching footy and a cheap dinner or quick glass of wine, there are local shops / takeaways etc within walking distance and the town has all the local things you may need including a lovely little supermarket with items like fresh local produce and foreign food stuffs not found in places like Waitrose!

My only negative is that the local Indian, Belwaris delivers and is so nice that you may end up not cooking and the local Chinese restauarant is so good that you may eat out far too much!! I luckily joined the local gym and swimming pool which is also £17 and a 15 min walk from the apartment before it was too late.

The owners are really friendly and go out of their way to offer advice and help if needed. All in all I highly recommend a stay here.

Sawbridgeworth is a lively village with no less than 12 pubs/bars and restaurants. Most of these are within walking distance of the apartment. The village is also home to probably the best Chinese restaurant for miles. It has some lovely privately owned fashion and gift shops .Bishops stortford is one stop on the train and offers every conceivable chain restaurant and shops plus some lovely individual boutiques

Lots of people lay out on lawns on sunny days. Its a lovely spot.
