We are a international couple who have lived all over the world and bought this nice and cosy property after retirement.
We have always loved to receive people at home and I feel very happy to be able to show people some of my roots. I personnaly took care of its decoration mixing modern and more classical items and lots of different colours. Portugal is a lovely country and the bay of Estoril-Cascais is a wonderful place to spend a holiday with family or friends.

Fabulous apartment, ideally situated
We were a party of three adults and we found the apartment to be exceptional - modern, spacious, comfortable and very well equipped with three very good sized double bedrooms. We made full use of the terrace and secluded garden, which was a real bonus for relaxing after the days' excursions. Nearby is a mini supermarket and a range of cafes and restaurants. The seafront is about five minutes walk away with a fabulous wide promenade which takes you to Cascais one way and Estoril and beyond the other. Again there are a range of cafes and bars along the beach front and several lovely sandy bays from which to swim or just soak up the sunshine. Cascais is a lively town with lots to explore, within easy walking distance of the apartment. In Cascais there is a large supermarket and the bus station from which local buses take you to places like Sintra. The sea front train takes you into Lisbon, making a car unnecessary. Monte Estoril itself is a lovely place to amble around and stop for a coffee and a Portuguese custard tart! It is a fantastic venue, in beautiful surroundings, for a wonderful relaxing holiday. Lovely apartment in great location
We are an Irish family of five, including three boys aged 11, 9 & 6 and we had a very successful ten-day holiday in this exceptional apartment. It is well-designed, nicely decorated, well-equipped, spacious and comfortable, with a shaded terrace and a very pleasant little sunny garden. The beach-front promenade that runs from Cascais to Estoril is a few minutes' walk down the road, with a selection of beaches to choose from, some with activities for our boys and older teens (pedalos, paddleboarding, surf lessons) and many restaurants on the promenade above (the quality of the food was generally very good). There is a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere and we really enjoyed morning or evening strolls on the promenade, while for swimming with the boys we preferred the beach near Cascais. We also really liked returning to the quieter Monte Estoril neighbourhood: around the corner from the apartment is a lovely, tree-shaded park with a little café overlooking a small playground, as well as a useful mini-market, bakery etc. (a larger supermarket less than 15 mins. walk away). We didn't want to rent a car but made one excursion to Lisbon which was very easy by train from Monte Estoril station (40-min. journey). All in all, a stylish apartment in a great location and we hope to return.

Fabulous stay in Monte Estoril
Our party was made up of 3 couples spanning 3 generations and everyone of us had an amazing time in Monte Estoril / Cascais. The apartment is real quality with every mod con and an enormous amount of space. The facilities are excellent and your every need is catered for - the outside dining area and garden are excellent for breakfast outdoors and relaxing after a day at the beach. There are lovely restaurants two minutes walk away and a fabulous cake shop /coffee shop alongside Hotel Saboia round the corner from the apartment, It is no distance to walk into Cascais along the beautiful promenade and close by Monte Estoril railway station. Thank you Natasha for all your help - I am sure we will be return visitors because we all had such a relaxing and enjoyable holiday in your wonderful apartment.
Geweldig / amazing!
De foto's geven een perfect beeld van het appartement (alles is ook echt zo mooi en daarbij ontzettend schoon!), doordat alles gelijkvloers is, is het een heerlijk appartement voor zowel familie, kinderen als mensen slecht ter been.
Wat een luxe om daar te verblijven! Bakker om de hoek, een paar minuten van het strand met een prachtige boulevard richting Cascais en Estoril, vlakbij de trein die je binnen een half uur naar Lissabon brengt, je (huur)auto kan je op het terrein veilig parkeren, Cascais zit vol goede restaurantjes en voor weinig geld heb je een heerlijke maaltijd! Ik was er met mijn ouders, vriend, schoonzus en broer en door de vele zitmogelijkheden (buiten, binnen aan tafel of achter de tv of internet) je loopt elkaar nooit voor de voeten.
De eigenaresse heeft zelf het modieuze huis ingericht en ademt stijl en warmte uit. Kan alleen maar zeggen; hier heb je alles om te gaan genieten!
We stayed in this apartment with our two children who were under 5 years and two grand parents. It is ideal for young children as it is all on the ground floor with a lovely little private garden and patio which is very safe. If you have a car there is secure off street parking. There is a little playground and park just around the corner and lots of coffee shops, restaurants, bakeries and general stores nearby. The main town beaches are within easy walking distance. The apartment is beautifully furnished and extremely well equipped. The owners were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment, so much so we are returning again this summer!

Many beaches at walking distance (5 minutes). Some of the beaches have natural sea swimmingpool. The house for this reason is excellent for families with children.
The apartment is 5-10 minutes walking to the beach. The Estoril coast starts in Carcavelos, 15 kilometres from Lisbon, and stretches as far as Guincho, often known as Costa de Estoril. You can choose between smaller beaches with calm sea and bigger beaches perfect for surf (f.ex Guincho).
The beaches offer lot's of bars and restaurants.
Nearest airport is Lisbon International Airport - some 30km from Estoril. If you are staying in Monte Estoril a car is not essential, however, if you wish to explore the area including historical Sintra and the beautiful Cabo da Roca you might find one useful. The train station, some 10 min walk away, takes you into Lisbon (20 min) in clean, modern air conditioned trains – they run every 15 min, are inexpensive & always on time! Cabs are cheap in Portugal.
