Situated on the edge of the village of Beniarbeig, it is in a small, quiet, gated community with grassy communal areas. It nestles within the backdrop of the impressive Sierra de Segaria Mountains.

Lovely property in a very nice area

The property is located in a perfect location for us. Away from the crowds but only a 15 min drive to some amazing beaches. I made a slight error as i thought the pool was private however in september the pool area was very quiet so most of the time we had it ourselves. The kitchen in the property was great and so well equipped. Everything went fine and we had a great time. Owners very flexible on arriving times. Very nice that we could come striaght from airport to property with no waiting.In all we have a great relaxing time and would come back again if we wanted to visit the area.

A lovely vacation in a lovely house

Our family had a lovely stay in Villa Bougainvillea, the house was very nicely equipped and light and airy and had a modern spacious feel. Our girls especially enjoyed the pool while we relaxed on the terrace and our parents the private grassy area to the front of the villa - great for catching the evening sun.

The local shopping center only 5 minutes by car with a hypermarket was very handy and the weekly local markets for local produce was a great hit also. We found a great Bodega in Beniarbeig and kids loved pizza at the 'Bus Stop' there also.

Good access to all the local beaches also and of course too many restaurants to choose!

Single story, light and spacious it is in an ideal location. We love cycling, golf and wide open beaches, and this area in Spain has it all!

Special interest holidays:

Cycling - Fantastic for cycling enthusiast offering easy and more challenging routes. Dozens of pelotons and individual cyclists can be found on the roads and many professions use the local mountain terrain to train out of season for upcoming races. Mountain biking is also popular in the Segara Mountains behind our villa.

Running- There are races and marathons held all year round in the local villages that are open for both residents and visitors to the area.

Walking/ Hiking - Enjoy scenic walks in the Montgó National Park where adventurous hikers can climb up to the mountain top at 753m and be rewarded by breathtaking views of Ibiza.

Water Sports - numerous water sports can be found on the local beaches, kite surfing is especially popular on Oliva beach.

Other Sporting Activities

Other local activities in the area include horse riding, tennis, rock climbing and mountaineering.



Many great beaches all within driving distance:

Oliva (6kms) Wide and wild white sand beach with sand dunes stretching some 25 kms

Denia (6kms) Sandy beaches and small rocky coves, ideal for snorkeling

Javea (12kms) Sandy family beaches and rocky beaches lined with small restaurants.

Calpe (20kms) Sandy family beaches with bars and restaurants


Location: The nearest airports are Valencia and Alicante (both are a 45 minute drive)


Beniarbeig (2 min walk)

A charming Spanish village offering a supermarket, bakery, butchers, fishmongers, bank and a pharmacy, bars and restaurants.

Ondara (2 min drive)

With famous bull ring tapas bars, restaurants and shopping mall with hypermarket.

Denia (8 min drive)

Lanes and cobbled streets, wide shaded streets, seafront restaurants, and an ancient castle rising from its center. Excellent hospital.

Javea (12 min drive)

Further Details:

There are a multitude of excellent local tapas bars, pavement cafes and restaurants in the area. Eating out can be cheap with Menus of the Day from 8 euros (3 courses plus wine/beer).

Bodegas in all the local villages offer tasting and a selection of local wines to buy by the bottle or litre! Fiestas. There are numerous Festivals held throughout the year: Beniarbeig. 6 January Three Kings Day - Three wonderfully dressed wise men deliver presents to the children. Followed by fireworks and fiesta food.

Last week in August Beniarbeig Fiesta - A week of activities for all ages including bull runs through the village, music, water fights, processions, firework displays and food extravaganzas.


15-19 March Las Fallas -Huge statues are built from paper mache, these are burnt on the final day during a massive firework display.

Mid July Bull Running & Fiesta - Bulls are run through the town and finish in the sea. Fiesta week with a huge procession, paella cooking, music, fireworks, etc.

Theme Parks

Benidorm (20 min drive) offers:

Terra Mitica, a theme park based on ancient Mediterranean cultures

Aqualandia, a huge water amusement park

Mundomar, the Costa Blanca´s answer to Disney´s Sea World.

All these parks are suitable for both adults and children.
