About Justin Julian

We are a small family business promoting and managing properties across Cornwall.

Some of the properties are self-owned but, we also manage properties on behalf of friends and neighbours.

These are/were our private homes and we want guests to enjoy using them as much as we do. We also care about the people staying in our properties.

We think it helps set us apart and starts right from the first enquiry.

Have a look at our own website: Gorgeous Places to Stay

Hope we can tempt you to visit. Happy Holidays!

Justin Julian purchased this house in 2011

Why Justin Julian chose Lizard Peninsula

This property has just been purchased and is being upgraded in advance of being rented out for the first time during Summer 2012. This will mean that loads will be new and in great condition!!

What makes this house unique

It's a great cottage in a delicious location and so close to the enchanting Helford Passage. What more do you need?

Guestbook comments from the manager

We started letting the property in June 2012 and have received some gorgeous feedback;

"It exceeded our expectations and was far more spacious than we had imagined. The kitchen was very well equipped with all we needed and the ipod docking station was useful too. In fact, we were constantly amazed with how well equipped it was.

It was one of the nicest and most well equipped places we have ever stayed in. We are already recommending it to friends and family and would love to visit again"

"What a gorgeous property. In great condition, very private, very quiet and a wonderful base for exploring west cornwall. We think it's amongst the best value properties we've rented and we've been renting for 20+ years"

Best cottage we've started at "Beautiful"

  • 5 of 5

This is a real gem of a cottage.

Beautiful inside and out. Good size parking out front . Has everything you need, the Aga is fun to cook on. Slate floors are lovely.

The Garden is so lovely to sit in for an evening beer. Bedrooms all really big in size, lovely bathrooms x2 and shower room downstairs .

The house is spotless clean thanks to Ann, with cream scones and flowers on arrival "Thank you Ann"

Book and contacts were easy and nothing to much trouble for Justin.

Just a perfect place, will be back next year.

Hot Property !

  • 4 of 5

We know Cornwall and The Lizard very well and we much appreciated Miranda's convenient location and the welcome refreshments provided by the friendly housekeeper. The cottage had all the charm of a traditional Cornish cottage but with the the added comfort and conveniences of being modern. Furnished with style we enjoyed the lovely natural materials used throughout. The one thing we did not enjoy though was The Aga. The cottage was extremely hot when we arrived as we visited during that rare thing..a nice Summer. We knew of it's existence of course but as the cottage does not have a handbook of how the cottage works I didn't think of turning it down until we'd been there 36 hours and that was after I'd rung the property manager. He was very helpful and there is, of course,a handbook to the Aga but I did not dare interfere with it until instructed to do so. After that things improved considerably but it did mean we had a couple of uncomfortably hot days when using the kitchen was unpleasant. A little forethought would have prevented this and I guess then I would have awarded 5 stars. We felt the property offered good value as 2 couples can share and be completely private as the layout offers good flexibility with 2 bathrooms upstairs.

Delightful Cottage

  • 5 of 5

Miranda Cottage is a delightful place and exceeded our expectations. The property itself is full of charm and character and was perfectly clean and well maintained. The plate of scones, jam and clotted cream were a lovely surprise and most welcome. Everything we could have asked for was available with all towels and linens spotlessly clean. Ann from across the road does a brilliant job of keeping the house neat & tidy for incoming guests and is always around to give advice & tips about the local area. After a long journey on motorways, the roads to St Martins seem very narrow and twisting but after a good nights sleep they appear more friendly and we saw foxes, a deer and squirrels along the way. The Ship Inn and Old Courthouse Restaurant serves excellent food but you may need to book. The Prince of Wales is also a great place to eat. We found the cottage was an excellent base to tour from and we visited Newquay Zoo, Lands End, Falmouth and the Eden Project to name a few. The cottage is also very close to some lovely beaches. All in all we really enjoyed our stay at Miranda Cottage and would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely property.

Just Wonderful

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful holiday for 2 weeks at Miranda Cottage. The description was understated if anything as the property was immaculate in every detail and huge !! The only slight issue is cooking on the Aga but this was fun to learn and the result was incredible even if it did make the cottage very warm. The welcome from the house keeper Anne was brilliant and she could not do enough and the standard of cleaning on arrival was just first class and the best standard we have experienced on the Lizard and we have been coming for 10 years and never been disappointed so this was so welcome to find a property even better than expected. The management company/owners were contactable and very open with lots of information. We would have no reservation to recommend to our friends and family as they would love the experience here. The Lizard is a great place to be based, Helford Sound is beautiful, wonderful beachs on the South and North Coast and of course cream teas. Best place we had something to eat was Sea Drift at Porthleven and this was just brilliant but you need to book early !! Thank you for a great holiday , no bad points at all !!
