Villa in Vilamoura, Central Algarve, Portugal - Located On A Quiet Cul-de-sac, The Villa Also Has A Wonderful View Over The Pinhal Golf Course.

Our recently renovated, bright, & spacious villa sleeps up to 8 and has its own private pool, ample terraces and views overlooking the Pinhal golf course. The fully licensed villa is conveniently located in the heart of Vilamoura only a 5 min. walk from the nearest shops & cafés, & a 10-15 min. walk from the beautiful & vibrant Vilamoura marina. Equiped with all the necessary comforts: AC( upstairs bedrooms only), WiFi, cable TV, fully equipped kitchen, gas BBQ, private pool, security systems, our villa offers all you need for a fantastic vacation with family or friends. The villa is located on a quiet cul-de-sac & overlooks the 14th hole of the Pinhal golf course. The villa is clean & bright and we do our utmost to ensure that your holiday is worry free from the moment you enter the front gate! Local property management is only minutes away to solve any problem that might possibly occur in no time at all, leaving you feeling safe & supported while you enjoy the pool & all the villa has to offer!

Located on a quiet cul-de-sac, our villa, Casa Santa Barbara (Casa Bonito), is backs onto the Pinhal Golf Course (no access to the golf from the villa though). The villa is an easy 5 minute walk to the nearest services (Bank, SPAR supermarket, cafés), and a 10-15 minute walk to the Vilamoura marina and a 20 minute walk to the Marina beach.

Because of its ideal location, many of our clients choose not to hire a car for the length of their stay, although this of course depends on the type of activities that you are planning on. In the case of hiring a car, there is no problem for parking at the villa, there is room for 1 car in the drive and there is plenty of street parking. In the case of not hiring a car, I can recommend a transfer company that is very reliable and not expensive that you could book to get you to and from the Faro airport, or other destinations as well. Also if you are interested in a golf holiday, there are packages available to all the courses in Vilamoura or Vale de Lobo/Quinta do Lago that can include pick-up at the villa and there are taxis next to the Marina.

The villa is made up of 2 floors. On the 2nd floor are the 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bath with shower and patio doors onto the large terrace overlooking the golf course (Hole 14 on Pinhal Golf). The 2nd ensuite bedroom is also with a double bed and patio doors to a front shared terrace. The 3rd bedroom is with 2 single beds and patio doors onto the shared terrace with the 2nd bedroom.

On the main floor of the villa are the main living areas with open plan living/dining and kitchen areas. The kitchen is fully equipped with micro-wave, stove top, fridge/freezer, oven, and dish-washer as well as cookware, plates, cutlery and glassware for 8 people. The kitchen opens onto an outdoor, awning covered dining area with gas barbecue. The living area (lounge) has a fire-place, TV/DVD with cable (with many English language channels) complimentary WiFi (works throughout the house and pool area) and opens onto a covered, glassed in terrace which serves as an outdoor living area and in turn opens onto the pool area. We decided many years ago to hedge off the golf course from the pool area for more privacy so there is no view of the golf course form the pool area, but as I mentioned before there is a wonderful view of the golf course from the 2nd floor terrace. The main floor of the villa also includes a large bathroom with shower and a 4th bedroom with 2 single beds and a patio door onto a small front garden terrace.

There is no daily maid service included in the price although it is available by request at and extra cost. The price does include 1 set of sheets per bed used per week and 1 set of towels (hand, bath and pool) per person per week, extra towels and sheets are available on request for a small fee. There is a washing machine (no dryer) available for your use as well as an iron and ironing board.

Our villa management company is close by in Vilamoura and they are available to help you out if there are any maintenance issues that require tending to as well as they can for a small fee organize activities, cars etc for you during your stay. They will also meet you at the villa to give you the keys and show you around the villa. The villa does have a safe, an alarm, and security gates on all the windows to ensure that you feel safe and secure. Portugal has among the lowest rates of criminality in Europe, and Vilamoura is extremely safe, but as it is a tourist destination, it is always better to be safe than sorry!

In the case that you would like to book the villa, we require a 30% of the total deposit by bank transfer to guarantee the booking. The balance is due up to 1 week prior to arrival by bank transfer or in cash on arrival. We also require a 300€ security deposit, by bank transfer or in cash on arrival, which will be returned to you in entirety, in cash on your departure if there is no damage to the villa, its property or the grounds. The client of course assumes all responsibility for any damages caused by them including those that may exceed the 300€ security deposit.

We are a Canadian Portuguese couple living in Lisbon for many years. This villa in Vilamoura has been our family summer home for over 25 years and was in fact renovated to be our full time home when we retired and moved to Portugal from New York City. Circumstances later forced us to move to Lisbon however, though happily we still frequently use the villa whenever we, or our children can. As we have travelled frequently around the world, we try to ensure that our guests are as comfortable as we would hope to be on a holiday. Could fault the villa, it's location and the owner Eric was also lovely to deal with.

Villa was very nicely appointed and there was everything there you needed including cable TV and wifi. Would def recommend and will def book again.

This is the best villa we have had in Vilamoura. The location is perfect - 10/15 minutes from everything, and the villa itself has everything you could need. The outdoor space is fantastic - the pool is big enough to swim properly in, and even has a real deep end! Our booking was handled in a very friendly fashion, and the team who look after the property on-site were very helpful. The area is very quiet but still has a vast array of lovely restaurants within easy walking distance, and not just on the marina. Hoping to be back next year.

The villa is less than a 5 minute drive or a short walk to the Marina beach of Vilamoura, and slightly more to the Falesia beach. In the area there are many spectacular beaches depending on your interests: Family, life-guarded, waterports, beach-bars, fisherman's, secluded, nudist, gay/lesbian, etc. All within under a 1/2 hour drive. The beaches are all beautiful fine sand and the water is usually warm and calm compared to the west coast beaches.


The Villa is located in Vilamoura which is about 40kms from the Faro International Airport. Vilamoura is also about 275 kms south of Lisbon Airport (2-3hour drive) and about a 2 hour drive from Seville airport in Spain. There is also accessability by train or bus from Lisbon, although the train station is in Loule and is about 10kms from Vilamoura. There are several car rental agencies in Vilamoura itself as well as at all the airports.


Vilamoura is about a 15 minute drive to Albufeira, 10 minutes to Loule and about 20 minutes to Faro. 2-3 hours from Lisbon, 2 hours to Seville, 1 hour to the Spanish border and about 1 1/2 hours drive to the West coast of Portugal and Sagres.

Further Details:

Vilamoura is filled with many restaurants and there are many, many more in next door Quarteira, Almancil or Albufeira. There are several supermarkets in town within walking distance of the Villa as well as shops, services, banks etc.

Changeover Day:
The general changeover day is Saturday, and the check-in time is 4PM, and check out before 11 AM. Of course, the days and times of your check-in and check-out may be flexable depending on the bookings/arrivals/departures of other clients.

All prices are quoted in Euros and currency exchange will be based on the rate of the day of payments (deposit, balance etc).

  • Outside: The villa has 2 large terraces on the upstairs floors which are accessed through the bedrooms. On the main floor there is a covered outside living area and an outside dining area with table and chairs for 8 as well as a gas barbecue. The pool is private, 3m x 7m, unheated, and with 8 pool loungers and umbrellas. The back yard is well gardened and is closed off from the front yard with a locked iron gate for extra safety and privacy. The small front yard is grassed and treed and has a small cobblestone drive for 1 car parking, although there is always plenty of street parking available in front of the villa. There is also a shaded patio at the front entrance of the house. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: 1 set of linens per bed, & 1 set of bath, hand, & pool towels per client, are provided for a 1 week stay. Kitchen towels are also included. There is no daily maid-service provided but any further linens, towels and cleanings are available at extra cost.
