LOVELY GARDEN APARTMENT

WE WERE A FAMILY OF THREE AND HAD A WEEK AT THIS LOVELY GARDEN APARTMENT .SPOTLESS CLEAN HAD EVERYTHING YOU NEEDED. THE BENIFIT OF BEING ON A SECURE SITE TOO.ALSO.ONLY A 10 MINUTE WALK TO THE LOVELY MARINA WHERE THERE WERE PLENTY OF LOVELY RESTAURANTS WHERE WE ATE EVERY NIGHT.ALSO HAD THE BENIFIT OF FABULOUS WEATHER.WOULD RECOMMEND THIS LOVELY APARTMENT.

An Ideal Apartment

Just spent several enjoyable weeks in this lovely apartment.

It has every facility you would need, is spotlessly clean and located on a secure development.

To the exterior there is a comfortable garden area with sofas, dining furniture and sun loungers. The location is great for exploring the area, being a 5 minute walk to the Marina at Cala D'Or and 15 minutes to Cala Egos or Porto Petro. There are a number of other beaches in the area which can be reached easily by car.

The tourist train stops close by, at the Marina, and this takes you all around the area.

All in all a very enjoyable holiday.

Great apartment in an excellent development

Spent a wonderful week in an excellent apartment. Facilities were perfect, development was ideal. Close to both the excellent restaurants around the marina, and a short walk to the lovely resort of Cala Egos. Will definitely like to return again in the future.

Beautiful Garden Apartment

We have just spent 10 wonderful days in this beautiful garden apartment. The apartment is superbly fitted out and is spotless. The outside patio furniture just sets off the lovely aspect. It is a credit to the careful owners Julie & Keith.

The location is also perfect for access to the Cala D'or Marina, Cala D'or centre and Cala Egos, all being just a short walk away. We knew the area well having had our own apartment a few years ago, so it was a delightful return to the area and to see many old friends. We certainly will return.

great hoilday

we had a wonderfull hoilday the apartment had everything we needed,lovely area,not far from shops.The harbour was lovely and the town was only a short walk away.There are more beaches to choose from,than your'll have time to visit,&a fab market in next village.A Great hoilday had by all.5*

superb apartment for a superb holiday

This was our second visit to Cala D?or and this apartment, we enjoyed ourselves so much the first time , we had to return a year later and hope to go again in the future.

The whole apartment is lovely, it is spotlessly clean and well cared for, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. There is a terrace/patio with plenty of garden furniture to relax or sunbathe on and a table so that you can either dine inside or al fresco. With the swimming pool just around the corner and a good parking space in front of the apartment it has everything you need, for a perfect holiday.

The town is about fifteen minutes walk and has a Spar , several bakeries and a large supermarket if you want to eat in, we usually had breakfast at the apartment with lunch on the patio and then went out to eat in the evenings.

We found the short walk into town iextremely enjoyable, looking at all the luxury yachts in the Marina. You are spoilt for choice of restaurant as there are many fantastic ones. We especially liked the barbeque at the Yacht club and the Bar Lovento but we ate at many different places and always had a good meal.

If you have a car, as we did, the apartment is an excellent base to explore Majorca, we were able to travel to the various beaches and sights , such as Mondrago beach, Lluc Monastery and we even spent a day shopping and sightseeing in Palma.

However if you just want to chill out relaxing, reading and taking a dip in the pool the apartment still gets a straight 10.

The owners, Kevin and Julie were extremely helpful with lots of information as to flights , car rental, where to visit, directions and advice on where to eat etc, any questions we had were answered immediately and we were made to feel as if nothing was too much trouble as long as we had a superb holiday , which we did,(both times) thank you Kevin and Julie.

Coast/Beach:

A number of delightful beaches surround Cala D'Or. The nearest beach is approximately a 10 minute walk away. The beautiful beach of Cala Mondrago Natural Park is a 10 minute drive away. Local buses run a regular service to Cala Mondrago throughout the summer months.

Travel:

Palma International Airport is less than an hour's drive away. The taxi fare from the airport is around 65 Euros one way. Car hire is recommended in order to visit other parts of the island but is not essential.

Distances:

Cala D'Or Marina is a three minute walk away. The resort centre of Cala D'Or is a 10-15 minute walk away. Cala Mondrago Natural Park is 10 minute drive away. The cosmopolitan city of Palma is a 60 minute drive.

Further Details:

The apartment is situated close to the stunning Cala D'or Marina with suberb restaurants, bars and boutiques. The nearest supermarket is approximately 200 metres walk from the property. Cala D'Or is a beautiful, family friendly resort with many amenities including banks, shops cafes, bars and restaurants.
