Located on costa del sols popular 'gold coast', this apartment is ideally situated for a family holiday and golfers alike. A community swimming pool and its beautiful and quiet sub tropical gardens complete the relaxing atmosphere of la almadraba.

About Raymond Douglas

My wife & I just love to spend as much time with our family in Spain as time allows! We run an Event Management business in the UK so really only get a chance to enjoy our apartment in the early Spring and over the Christmas period...the rest of the year we hope our guests enjoy our spainish home as much as we do.

Why Raymond Douglas chose Manilva area

We feel in love firstly with the Duquesa area, as it has fantastic and unspoilt countryside and is easily accessed via the Autopiste from Malaga or Gibraltar airports. The sandy beaches are clean and safe and both being golfers the area has over 30 courses within a 15 mile radius. Our apartment is just perfect...and quite unique as both the Duquesa Golf Course and the beaches are within walking distance...not too many places can make that claim!

What makes this apartment unique

The Almadraba complex has a fantastic pool and gardens and the local community work hard to keep everything just perfect. Our apartment is a penthouse duplex (upstairs/downstairs) and is end of block..so very quiet! Also our apartment patios (there are two) are south facing...so we enjoy having breakfast in the spanish sunshine and also enjoy a bottle of wine (or two) while watching the sun set over the Duquesa hills! Perhaps the biggest advantage apart from the unspoilt views is its location - a short stroll (2 minutes) in the evening to the bars and resturants of Puerto Duquesa - no long walk or taxi home required! ..enjoy!

What a lovely apartment and in an ideal location. Stayed for one week in June..just wish I had booked longer! Quiet complex which suited us fine! and only a short walk/stagger back from the resturants and bars. Thanks again for looking afer us so well.

Coast/Beach:

Puerto la Duquesa has two fantastic safe and sandy beaches which are only a short 2 minute walk. A promenade with great resturants and cafes fronts the eastern beach and extends to nearby Sabinallis. The western beach also has a promenade which extends past the old Roman Castle into the old village of Duquesa and its fine seafoods resturants! Both beaches offer the usual beach side resturants and water sports etc.

Puerto Duquesa's Marina is surrounded by resturants and cafes.

Travel:

The Almadraba Apartments are located 50 minutes from Malaga Airport and 30 Minutes from Gibraltar...and is in a perfect location to explore the Costa Del Sol.

Outside: Large main swimming pool and smaller child pool are surrounded beautiful tropical gardens that overlook the Duquesa Golf course - very quite and private. Almadraba has an underground (in the shade!) car park and the complex is a gated community with access via security controlled gates. Utility Room: Washing/Dryer machine Ironing Board/Iron Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels and bed linen are included and are changed weekly on stays of 14 nights or more. (Any stays less than 14 nights that require a second change will be subject to a small additional charge).

July & August - Change over day is Saturday/Sunday, apartment available 3.00pm on day of arrival and must be vacated 10.00 am on day of departure. Flexible arrival departure days all other months.
