De Zeemeermin is a very peaceful house built on an area of sand dunes that is designated as an area of natural beauty. The house has many unique features including an open fire and exposed brick work, it is not however a house full of mod cons, without even a television this is a house to kick back and relax, swim walk on the beach, make use of all the bicycle paths explore the historic towns of Middleburg and Zierikzee.

nice house, beautiful place

We enjoyed our stay very much. We love the special architecture!The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and useful. The livingrooms need some modernization (do it in style of the house). Some locks (frontdoor) need repair. Thanks we could stay in your house!

Perfect for family holidays

big house with a large garden and 1 minute to the beach! 2 of 10 rooms are not really up to date, but ok. alltogether a perfect place for your holiday with the whole family!

Unique for the Netherlands

This summer house in the dunes of Westerschouwen is unbelievable and is situated just near the sea. We had a lot of beautiful weeks here!!!

Sehr charmantes Haus mit tollem Grundstück in direkter Küstennähe

Sehr schön renoviert und dabei den Charme des Baujahres erhalten - ein wirklich tolles Haus mit viel Platz, Bädern, viel Kinderspielzeug und einem schönen Außenkamin.

Super Lage, leicht retro

Die Lage ist unschlagbar. Da muss ich den restlichen Bewertungen zustimmen. Man braucht 2 Minuten zum Strand. Essensmöglichkeiten sind in füßläufiger Entfernung sehr gut zu erreichen. Kleiner Laden mit Essen, Trinken und für Urlaubsutensilien ist in der Nähe. Ein toller Park ist direkt nebenan. Die Unterkunft ist für 3 Elternpaare plus jeweils 2 Kinder perfekt. Jede Partei hat ein eigenes Bad. Die Küche ist schön groß und neu. Ansonsten ist das Haus schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, wenngleich einige Dinge bereits renoviert worden sind. Der grose Garten ist perfekt für Familien mit Kindern.
