The apartments are centrally heated, sound proofed and double glazed throughout, ensuring a comfortable, peaceful environment all year round. The floors are finished with wood laminate and rugs. The luxury kitchens comprise a full size electric oven with gas hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, fridge with separate freezer and a complete array of kitchen appliances, crockery and glassware. The lounges have coal-effect gas fires and are beautifully and tastefully furnished with ample comfortable seating, occasional tables, T.V. with DVD player, CD player and radio. The bathrooms all have heated towel rails, shaving points and over-mirror lighting. Each apartment also has a hairdryer. Electricity and gas are included in the price. Bed linen can be provided upon request at a nominal charge. Cots and high chairs are available on request.

About the property


St Kitts situated in a prime position on the sea front, is a family run business. This becomes apparent when you see the high standard of decor, fittings and cleanliness of the apartments. Completely refurbished when the present owners took over, the apartments were sympathetically renovated to keep as many of the original Victorian features as possible whilst incorporating the modern conveniences expected today. Both apartments have stunning, uninterrupted views of the beautiful Filey Bay, from the Brigg to Flamborough Head and offer exceptional accommodation in this unspoilt, yet popular East Coast resort.

About John and Katrina Rook

John and Tina Rook live near Market Weighton. John helps run the family farm and Tina is a Tennis Coach. They have four grown up daughters and one grand daughter. Filey has always been a family holiday destination.

We travel over every weekend to turn round the flats and make sure they are of a standard we would want to stay in.

We bought the flats in 2001 and converted them from four flats and living accommodation to three, selling the ground floor flat in 2009.

Having stayed in Filey for several decades we realised the only place to stay is on the sea front.

We love our flats and are very proud of them and like people to share and experience Filey at its best.
