Our lovely holiday home is set in 2 acres of land just a 2.5 km from Pollensa Old Town, and offers fantastic mediterranean gardens with views of the Tramuntana, hammock, private pool 26' x 15' (7.9m x 4.6m) and sun terrace complete with 8 sun loungers. The villa was upgraded in 2014 and is tastefully furnished and decorated throughout with quality furniture, soft furnishings and comfy mattresses brought over from John Lewis including a new super king sized bed to the master bedroom and a king sized bed to Bedroom 3. Bedrooms 2 and 4 are twin. Three bedrooms have french doors opening out to the beautifully kept gardens and sun terraces. Two family bathrooms and 1 en-suite service the property. The spacious kitchen is modern and very well equipped, there is a modern dining room with large oak table seating 8, and a spacious comfortable lounge. The upstairs mezzanine houses a football table, and also leads out to a private roof terrace. The under cover porch has Rattan outdoor dining furniture for 8, a table tennis table and 2 seater sofa. The BBQ area has a separate dining table for 8 underneath a lovely pergola.

2 travel cots and 2 highchairs available to hire for small charge.

Wi-fi is available between May and October, also SKY HD TV with SKY Movies and Sports.

"We have been going to Pollensa and renting holiday villas for almost 10 years now and C'an Manuel has certainly hit the top of the list for us - it ticked all the boxes in terms of location and accommodation both internally and externally. We spend our holidays by the pool and so the outside area is important and Manuel was perfect. The excellent pool to the front of the villa with mature landscaped gardens beyond was perfect and very private. The pool furniture was modern and very comfortable as was the outdoor dining table etc. The interior matched all of this - totally modern yet in keeping with the Majorcan villa style. The location we loved because it is a five minute drive to the Old Town of Pollensa with its rich Majorcan atmosphere and superb restaurants and shops. The Port too is only a short drive with its fabulous beaches and amenities. We will go back to Manuel for sure - hopefully when we go to book it it will be available!"

This is our 3rd time in a pollensa villa and C'an Manuel is far and away the best. Brilliant pool and outside space. High quality kitchen and furnishings. The new beds/mattresses was a real plus for us, having stayed in properties with poor beds in the past.

Overall, we couldn't fault the villa and would happily stay again.

Delightful

We (four adults and one child) had a delightful week in Pollensa. The villa is exactly as described, only better! It's been beautifully designed and maintained, and is so well equipped that, aside from the need to eat, it would be quite easy never to venture beyond the perimeter. That, however, would mean missing, the beautiful towns, coastline and mountains in this part of Mallorca.

Great stay in Pollensa

We booked this villa for 7 adults and 1 child. The villa had ample room for us all. The villa has been decorated to an excellent standard and has good facilities. Everything was in good working order and is child friendy.

The villa was ideal for days relaxing by the pool and alfreso dining, but also is close to both Pollensa (2.5km) and Puerto Pollensa and easy to get in to both by hire car or taxi (8 EUR). The villa is also in a great location for day trips.

The only thing we could find which would improve the villa is faster wifi, as this would make it easier if you have to work from the villa.

Superb in every way

Never having been to Majorca before we had an open mind on what to expect. The property is superbly positioned to take advantage of the highlights of the NE of the island. The interior is top notch and the gardens are truly outstanding. Some great running routes from the front door (if you're that way inclined). The accessibility of the property was important to us and we found it perfect for those who are not fully mobile. Looking forward to our next visit

A great family holiday at C'an Manuel

The villa was everything we hoped it would be and more.Lovely pool,impressive Mediterrainean gardens,beautifully furnished villa and wow a 'hammock'.We are 6 adults and 3 children and we all loved it.

We celebrated my wife's birthday in Pollenca old town square at the excellent Il Giardino restaurant.They provided the cake and the staff sang "Happy Birthday" for her,most of the restaurant joined in.A great success.

A fabulous holiday,in a beautiful place.

A wonderful week at C'an Manuel

We had a wonderful week at C'an Manuel. The villa layout was perfect for our group (3 children and 5 adults) and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. The pool and outside space worked well with a great pool and a super barbq area. The villa location is great and Helen couldn't have been more helpful. All told, we had a wonderful week and would love to return.

Coast/Beach:

The villa is located approximately midway between Pollensa town and the bay of Pollensa. The long, sandy beach at Puerto Pollensa is 6km away. The coves at Cala St Vicente are 10km away and further along the coast the beach at Formentor can be reached by a mountain road or ferry from Puerto Pollensa which takes about 15 minutes. At Alcudia one of the largest expanses of golden sand can be found, offering water sports from jet skiing to windsurfing.

Travel:

Palma airport is approximately 40 minutes away from the villa. Car hire is recommended.

Further Details:

There are a couple of good supermarkets (Aldi and Eroski) within 3-5 km drive of the villa. There are also smaller supermarkets, butchers, delicatessens, patisseries, banks, chemists which can be found in Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa. If you wish to do a big hypermarket shop on your way from the airport to the villa, we can give you details of a couple situated conveniently near Palma airport.

Our gardens are beautiful, and are stocked with a number of fig trees, vines, quince and some young citrus trees. Guests are most welcome to help themselves to fruit from our gardens when in season.

Mallorca produces some excellent wines, and there are a number of vineyards within an hours travelling distance of the villa. There are two very close by -

Vinyes Mortitx on the Pollensa-Lluc road, and C'an Vidalet in Pollensa itself.

The Pollensa area sits in the foothills of the northern most spur of Sierra de Tramuntana. Pollensa town has a medieval historic quarter and is steeped in history and is definitely worth a visit, with many local art galleries, art and craft shops, great restaurants and the famous Calvari steps. For the more energetic there is a strenuous walk to the top of Puig Maria which affords spectacular views to nearly half of the island. The main square, with its pavement cafes and adjoining narrow streets is the hub of the town's unique charm. During the year there are a variety of musical events and fiestas to be enjoyed. Puerto Pollensa is a past fishing port with fabulous sandy beaches and the famous Pinewalk stretching around the northern half of the bay. There are many restaurants and shops and some nightlife during the summer months. Further afield is the quaint walled town of Alcudia and 2km further down the road you will find Puerto Alcudia and the long sandy beaches of Alcudia bay. Inland there are interesting villages worth visiting such as Sa Pobla and the amazing caves at Campanet.

  • Our villa is set in the corner of a spacious 4500 sq m plot surrounded by mature gardens and paved areas. The gardens are beautifully maintained, with plenty of trees, lawned areas and flowering shrubs providing natural shade and colour. It also features six dramatic palm trees which are the tallest in the area and can be seen from a distance as the finca is approached from Pollensa. Enjoy relaxing under our covered terrace overlooking the pool and taking in the lovely countryside views, comfortably furnished with a large dining table, rattan chairs, 2 seater sofa, and table tennis table. The paved stone sun terrace extends around the side of the villa where there is a small table and wicker armchairs overlooking the side gardens and Pollensa countryside, a perfect spot for some quiet time reading whilst enjoying enjoying a glass of the lovely local wine. The terrace can also be accessed from three of the bedrooms which have French doors opening directly onto it, so a lovely spot to welcome the morning sun and take your early morning cup of tea. The shaded pergola area next to the BBQ offers another spot to sit and admire views, this time of the lovely Tramuntana mountains in the distance. This is the perfect place to sit and enjoy your BBQ lunch. And don't miss out on whiling away some time in our hammock perfectly positioned under the beautiful palm trees. To keep everyone entertained, there is Table Tennis and a Football Table, and a box of outdoor/pool toys for the children, There's also a bookcase housing a selection of books from which to choose if you fancy a read. The property is non-smoking and no pets are permitted.
