Rose cottage is ideally located in the centre of the village with 2 local pubs close by. The cottage incorporates a wealth of natural features including flagstone floors and oak beams and has been sensitively renovated which has been complemented with a high standard of furnishings and fittings along with wifi included.There is open countryside to the rear with views across the village from the master bedroom at the front. It sleeps 2 to 4 people and comprises, sitting room with flagstone floor, beamed ceiling and multi fuel stove. Dining kitchen with flagstone floor, electric hob and oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and granite worktops, two bedrooms and luxury bathroom. Outside patio and garden with table, chairs and barbeque, on street parking is available directly outside the cottage.

About the Owner

Mum and Dad have farmed in Malham all their lives and bought the cottage in 2007.

It had no toilet or bathroom and only one bedroom and with the help of son in law Andrew they spent a year sensitively doing it up.

Dad passed away a few years ago but Mum still cleans and looks after all our guests and gets a great deal of pleasure from keeping it smart and, hopefully, our guests enjoying their stay.

We stayed 3 nights and was perfect. The description was accurate and the cottage was clean, cosy well equipped and comfortable. We had a lovely welcome from the neighbour who showed us some great walks on the map on the wall unfortunately didn't have time to do them all. Janet's Foss is an easy walk by the river, watch out for the coins in the tree trunks! Past Janet's Foss to the tea van ready for the walk up to the top of Malham cove and over to Malham Tarn. The pubs in the village are great for a cold beer and food at the end of a walk. I would recommend and would go again.

Fabulous cottage.

Stayed at Rose cottage for 1 week. In the heart of Malham, with 2 pubs within walking distance to cottage. 1 Mile to Malham cove which was amazing. malham is a very pretty village.

Cottage was superbly equipped. Very comfortable living room. 2 good sized bedrooms with lovely views. Stunning bathroom.

Small but lovely back garden which over looked the field which had sheep in.

Over all a very comfortable and beautiful traditional stone cottage. We all had a wonderful time away.
