The apartment is one of nine in a lovely Victorian villa, which has been skilfully converted into modern holiday apartments, well-equipped for self-catering. It is located in one of the best positions in Torquay, only 250 metres/yards from Torquay harbour, seafront and town centre, yet in a quiet, leafy road. There is a shared launderette, free WiFi and parking and a shared patio with tables and chairs.

This one-bedroomed apartment is on the first floor of the Beulah. There is a spacious living/dining room with a three-seater sofa, dining table and chairs, TV, DVD and a separate, fully-equipped kitchen. The bedroom has a double bed and one single bed (2'6" wide). The bathroom contains a bath with shower over, toilet and basin.

I am David and hope to welcome you to Torquay personally. I have lived in Torbay all my life and would never move away as I would miss the sea and beautiful scenery too much. I have excellent local knowledge and will be pleased to help with any queries about the area, recommend restaurants and attractions or give directions. I have been in the hotel and catering business since I was 13 years old(!) and have run St Christophers Holiday Home since 2006, and the Beulah Holiday Apartments with my wife, Caroline, since 1989, so have plenty of experience in providing a great holiday base for guests.

I can say that we really enjoyed our stay at the beginning of July and in the years of coming to Torquay, staying at the Beulah was the best experience we've had and we've had some good ones. Another great holiday in The Beulah (our third) flat 1 was just right for us ground floor next to the car park, as Anne's 76,and I'm 79, never once saw David without a smile on his face and Caroline is so warm and friendly they really are the perfect hosts. We would recommend the Beulah to anyone.

PS (weather was great too!) :-)

Room Tip: from a previous visit I would recommend room 6 as the nicest apartment we have ever stayed in ever!

Our first visit at the Beulah but we have rebooked to stay there again this year. We had a wonderful holiday in Torquay but the Beulah put the cherry on the cake. it was a lovely apartment, clean, tidy and spacious. Close to the town within walking distance. Best ever!

We bought this lovely Victorian villa because of its superb position in Torquay, only 250 metres from the harbour side and centre, yet in a quiet leafy road. It has plenty of parking - guests tend to leave their cars parked up for the week, which is much less stressful!

Nearest Airport : Exeter at 26 Miles Nearest Ferry : Plymouth at 33 Miles Nearest Golf : Torquay Golf Course at 2.2 Miles Nearest Train : Torquay Railway Station at 1 Miles Nearest Restaurant : Amici at 0.1 Miles Nearest Beach : Meadfoot Beach at 0.6 Miles Car: not necessary


2 minutes walk to Torquay harbour (250 metres). Meadfoot beach is only 10 minutes walk and Abbey Sands is 15 - 20 minutes walk.


A car is not necessary as there are taxis, buses and ferries within easy walking distance. The coach station and train station are about 1 mile away.

Exeter airport is 23 miles.


Exeter 23 miles. Plymouth 30 miles. Dartmouth 10 miles. Paignton 2 miles.

Brixham 10 miles. Dartmoor 20 miles. Eden Project 70 miles.

Further Details:

The town centre is within easy walking distance, with many varied shops. The harbour side is only 2 minutes walk away, with many restaurants to choose from. There is a small convenience store only 2 minutes walk away and a Tesco Metro just 5 minutes walk away. Larger supermarkets are within 10 - 15 minutes drive.
