Farmhouse in Cupramontana, Ancona Province, Le Marche, Italy - Peaceful Location, Close To Picturesque Cupramontana And A 30 Minute Drive To The Adriatic Sea

Pietradorata is a beautifully restored farmhouse and was completed in 2009. Set in the countryside of the Marché on 5 acres of farmland it is surrounded by some of the most spectacular views. Available for short or long-term rent, with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (2 en-suite) and brand new furniture, Pietradorata can comfortably accomodate up to 8 people. Even though you may feel you have escaped to the middle of nowhere, the house is situated minutes from Cupramontana - the nearest town - and about half an hour from coast where you can enjoy the traditional Italian seaside towns, pleaseant beaches and the calm Adriatic sea. Pietradorata is only a short drive from Ancona airport and the airports in Pescara and Rimini are not too far away. Bologna airport and the 2 airports in Rome - Fiumicino and Ciampino - are further afield but are served by most major airlines.

About Chris Elliott

We have always loved Italy and often hired villas for family and friends. We took the plunge and bought the house in 2006 and have spent a lot of time renovating and restoring it.

We use it for all our summer holidays but have not been able to visit as much as we would like. We decided to start renting it out to help it pay for itself and we really think the house would benefit from being used.

Coast/Beach:

The farmhouse is a 30 minute drive from many of the regions best beach resorts our favourites are Senegallia, Pesaro and around Monte Conero.

Travel:

Falconara airport near Ancona is the nearest airport and is 35 minutes from the farmhouse.

RyanAir flies daily from London Stansted to the region's own airport, Ancona Falconara as well as Rimini airport which is convenient for the northern Marche.

Both Alitalia and British Airways, and many other airlines offer flights to Bologna airport (2 hours drive from Cupramontana) and Rome airport (3 hours by car to Ancona) offers a wide choice of airlines.

Distances:

Cupramontana village, 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive

Jesi, good shopping / restaurants / night life - 10 minute drive

Ancona, less picturesque bustling town, ferries to Croatia and Greece - 35 minute drive

Further Details:

Cupramontana - 2 small supermarkets. Guests often stop in the larger supermarkets in Jesi to stock up for their stay. Cupra has a bakery and butchers as well as bars and restaurants.

Utility Room: Washing machine, free to use for all guests Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels, linen and cleaning are all included. Guests can let us know in advance how often they would like new linen or cleaning and we can arrange. An absolutely wonderful property

I do not normally write reviews but felt compelled to do so after our stay at the farmhouse.

After our rental house was damaged in the Earthquake on 24/8/2016 we had to find somewhere to stay for the second week of our holidays.

Luckily, this farmhouse was available for this week. After contacting Chris, the owner, he was very helpful in ensuring the property was made ready a day earlier than planned. This was great as we had to move into a hotel in the interim.

Arriving at the property, you are immediately struck by the wonderful views. The property is impressively presented and the photographs on the website do not do it justice.

The house will easily accommodate eight people and is well equipped inside.The pool is a good size for games & swimming.

We wish we had been there for the two weeks and would definitely consider returning.

Highly recommended!

Groot huis, veel privacy, fantastisch uitzicht, heerlijk zwembad, volledig uitgeruste leuken, gastvrij management! Alleen Wifi werkt niet/ slecht ( ondanks directe check van management op ons verzoek) Absolute aanrader! Zou zo weer teruggaan! Chris, dank voor alles!

Schönes Landhaus in den Marken

Das Haus liegt wunderbar mitten in den Hügeln bzw. Bergen der Marken.

Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub für acht Personen braucht.

Als Startpunkt für Ausflüge nach Urbino, Perugia, Frasassi usw. ist das Haus gut geeignet.

Zum Meer z. B. nach Senigallia oder Sirolo ist man knapp 45 Minuten unterwegs. Dank eigenem Pool ist aber vor Ort jederzeit eine Abkühlung möglich.

Wir waren vier Erwachsene und vier Kinder (2x11 und 2x14) und haben zwei super Wochen dort verbracht.
