With magnificent Alpine peaks in the background, this part of the French Riviera is famous for its spectacular rocky coastline, sweeping, sandy bays and glorious gardens. Its sunny climate gives it a tourist season that lasts almost all the year round. The apartment is decorated and furnished to a high standard, and is the perfect place to stay while you explore the delights of the area, including the colourful Provencal market, the many and varied shops and restaurants, the surrounding hilltop villages and, of course, the beaches.

Super place!

We had a fabulous holiday in Antibes last week. We stayed at this lovely apartment which is located in a leafy, safe ,residential area, The property is 150m from a wonderful sandy beach. There are lovely restaurants within walking distance. Everything on your doorstep....I cannot wait to go back!

We stayed in this apartment for one week in August and wished we were staying for two. The apartment is exactly how it is described and was clean and ready for our arrival. The ceiling fans in each room cooled the air and it was a nice change from air conditioning which can sometimes be too cool. The apartment is in a residential area and only a five minute walk to a lovely beach with great views. It only takes approx 15-20 minutes to walk into either Juan les Pins or Antibes where there are plenty of lovely shops and restaurants. Excellent bus service for 1 euro into Antibes. We soon felt at home and into the french way of living, cannot wait for next year. Thank you Mary.

Lovely apartment

We stayed at La Radieuse for a long weekend, and I can highly recommend it. The flat itself was beautifully clean and very well-equipped. The balcony gets the morning sunshine, so is an ideal place for a relaxing breakfast (during the hottest part of the day, the balcony is in shade, so that was good too). Only a short walk to a lovely beach, brilliant for small children, with soft sand gently sloping into the sea, and hardly any waves. There are lots of lovely restaurants on the nearby seafront, so not difficult to find somewhere to eat out. We took the cheap and convenient local bus into town, where there were lots of picturesque streets and a lovely market. If you want to look beyond Antibes itself, the surrounding area has many stunning villages high up in the mountains - we hired a car, they were well worth a visit. All in all, a fabulous holiday and we will certainly be returning for a repeat visit.

Fun in France with family

The apartment was spotless and ready for our arrival. It has everything you could need and we had plenty of space for a family of 4. The area is quiet and residential yet just a short walk from the beach. We didn't need a car as the public transport was very efficient. Trains along the coast are frequent and reasonably priced. The owner made the booking process very easy. Thank you.

Bonjour Antibes

We enjoyed our stay. This bright, sunny apartment is a few minutes walk away from the beach and local shops. The bus stop and the train station are a short walk away giving access to all the major towns along the coast. At night the re-assuring beam of the lighthouse covers the town. The surrounding area is quiet. Within the apartment block the neighbours are friendly. The WiFi facility is particularly convenient.

Fabulous apartment

I have stayed in this apartment many times. It is bright, airy, comfortable, well equipped and scrupulously maintained. It's position is perfect - a 3 minute walk to La Salise beach and yet quiet and restful with a view of the lighthouse and hillsides. It is a delightful walk along the sea to the old town of Antibes.

From the Owner

The flat is a home from home, furnished to my own standards of comfort and practicality and a short walk from the beach and the wonderful Antibes Old Town. There are only four flats in the building, which is in a private enclave, with parking. My neighbours are very friendly and helpful. A typical day at La Radieuse begins with a relaxed breakfast on the secluded and sunny balcony, watching the birds flying over the Cap d'Antibes, then a stroll down to the sandy beach. In the evening, a short walk takes you to the Old Town with its colourful shops and restaurants, then you can wander home along the seafront in the moonlight. Magic.

Activity and Interests


The nearest beach is La Salis, about 250 metres away, via a short cut (near enough to go back if you've forgotten something!) It's sandy and safe and has excellent kiosks that sell drinks, ice creams and snacks.


The nearest airport is Nice - about 40 minutes by car. It is also possible to get a taxi, or a bus from the airport to Antibes, and then the shuttle bus to the seafront.

Car hire is not essential (though parking is provided, and it can make more surrounding places accessible), but the bus and train services are very good and inexpensive.

A comprehensive booklet is sent to all guests, giving detailed information about the apartment, the surroundings, shopping, transport, opening hours etc. etc. We have the services of a local agent, who can help with emergencies.

Changeover Day:
During busy periods, the apartment may not be ready for you until 4 p.m. We ask you to vacate it by 11 a.m. on the day of departure (10 a.m. during July and August). Outside these times, you may, however, leave your suitcases in the hall.

Notes on prices:
If you'd like to stay more than 1 week, we offer a 2nd week at 20% discount, and a 3rd at 30% (pro rata for part-weeks). We do not have a particular "changeover" day, and are happy to quote for any number of days (minimum 7). The difference in prices of flights can be huge from one day to another, and we do our best to be accommodating.
If a booking crosses two rental seasons (e.g. August-September), the rate will be adjusted according to the number of days required in each season.
