Family holiday
Owners were helpful re parking. Leaving car next to Queen's Park worked well and we were able to pay per day. It was easier then to use taxis.

Little disappointed
The house was in a great position for everything. I feel that a few things need doing in the house, the on suite - skirting board needs mending, some of the grouting is a bit black. Bedroom - bed very comfy but blinds don’t actually keep all the light out + there is a green light which you cannot switch off. One of the other bedrooms, paint peeling off, not sure if wall is damp. Dishwasher very temperamental, + one day we couldn’t get it to work at all so we’re not very happy that we had to turn around and do lots of washing up by hand. Otherwise everything good.

Lovely house
Greta house not too far from the beach, the host was great, friendly and reachable, and we had a great time! Warning: the house is on top of a steep hill so walking back from the beach will build your calves!

Great for family gatherings.
We hired Queens Park house for my Nan's 80th birthday. our party consisted of 11 adults and 2 children the house accommodated us easily. The house was well appointed, although a little rough around the edges and could do with some touching up and minor repairs. That being said it in no way effected our weekend. The house layout wasn't quite what I was expecting from the description, but all the rooms were a generous size. (although most bedrooms lacked wardrobes) We particularly enjoyed the kitchen. the house was in a great location, a short walk to the seafront and pier, with the benefit of free street parking which is rare in brighton and will save you a fortune! (although sometimes took a while to find a space.) Julian, the owner was brilliant. throughout booking and leading up to our stay, he was prompt in replying to queries and was very helpful. This house is well suited to large family gatherings, and is a child friendly house, with cots and highchairs available. we had a lovely weekend and I wouldn't hesitate to return. I recommend if you're staying in brighton check out the tea cosy tearoom in Kemptown. its not much to look at from the outside, but does lovely afternoon/high teas and is very quirky!

Great place for a family gathering
We had a very happy stay here, with lots of family members passing through on the weekend of a family wedding. The kitchen table was hugely accommodating, and the cooking facilities fine (we sat twelve for a big Sunday lunch!); the beds were comfortable; the house was warm, too warm even; and the location was very good -- loads of buses nearby. The owners were pleasant and helpful. Be aware that parking is the luck of the draw, and that the street can be noisy.
