Garden Studio in Karaman, Kyrenia (North Cyprus), a place to listen to the Sound of Silence in what may be the most beautiful village In Cyprus

This traditional property is in the beautiful village of Karaman, overlooking the coast and nestling within the foothills of the Kyrenia Mountains. The village has a shop, pub and restaurant and the apartment is close to the centre of the village and within 250 metres walk of all these. The apartment is set in mature gardens that have palm, lemon, pomegranate, almond and orange trees. There is a patio with pergolas covered by vine, bougainvillea and jasmine. Parking is available at the front of the property and there is additional parking within 80 metres.

Notes:
The Garden Studio has one air conditioned bedroom with two three foot beds, storage shelves and coat hooks. The living room has seating for 4 with a coffee table, TV with satellite feed and DVD player, and a CD player. There is further clothes storage in the wardrobe and a chest with cushions for use on the outside seating. There is a dining table to seat 2 and the kitchen has cutlery and crockery to suit. It has a gas hob, a microwave, electric kettle, toaster, refrigerator and appropriate cooking utensils. An ironing board and iron are also available. The patio area has stone benches and a wooden table, garden chairs, sun loungers and a barbecue. A safe sufficient for passports, documents, small cameras etc is available. Wireless internet can be accessed. Outside: The Garden Studio has a patio approximately 6m by 5m with stone benches, a table, barbecue and a garden which is approximately 8m by 8m. The patio area is covered with a pergola covered with vine, bougainvillea and jasmine. An almond tree provides additional shade. The garden area has lemon, almond and pomegranate trees, as well as a variety of shrubs. A cold/tepid/warm water, depending on the season, shower is provided at the end of the garden. Utility Room: There is no utility room but there is an ironing board and iron, dustpan, brush and a broom. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The property is cleaned before and after each set of guests. A weekly change of bed-linen and towels is provided, more frequent changes and/or extra cleaning can be arranged at additional cost. Beach towels are provided. A collapsible bed is available for an additional person to sleep in the main living area. A cot and a certain amount a baby equipment can be provided. This and the third person will attract an additional charge, please contact the owners to discuss.

Wonderful Stay

We had a great time at Mike and Sally´s place. They are really nice people and gave us helpful and detailled informations about the area, they know Cyprus very well! The Studio is in a very good position, right in the center of the nice and pictoresque village Karaman. The Studio is cleaned and cosy and has everything we needed: a well furnished kitchen (when we arrived we found eggs, water , bread, milk ...anything we needed for a nice breakfast!), a new and cleaned bathroom (with towels), satellite tv, cd and dvd player etc. and a nice bedroom with view on the amazing garden. We only regret we didn´t spent enough time there! In fact Karaman is in a very good and strategic position from where you can visit the Kyrenia district, the north coast and the mountains with their castels. Highly recommended, especially for longer stay!!

Refundable Damage Deposit £100

No refund of the DEPOSIT will normally be made for cancellations less than 6 weeks prior to the booked date.

Payment in Euros will be at the GBP/EURO exchange rate at the time of booking.

Changeover Day:
There is no preferred Changeover Day and we try to be flexible, subject to the level of bookings.

Notes on prices:
We prefer to operate with 7 day booking periods. We will consider shorter stays if it fits the time available but there will be a minimum charge equivalent to five days at the weekly rate at that time of year.

For stays greater than seven days, the extra days will be charged at 1/7th of the weekly rate at that time of year.

You will receive confirmation of payment, a map of the location of The Garden Studio, further general information and driving directions from your arrival airport.

A deposit of 50% is required when booking. The deposit will be refunded in full if the booking is cancelled more than 10 weeks before the booked date, 75% if cancelled between 10 weeks and 6 weeks before the booked date. The balance and a refundable damage deposit of £100 must be paid at least 6 weeks prior to the booked date.

Payment can be in Pounds (GBP), or Euros.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
