Bright modern family owned house approx 200yards from beach, lifeboat, beach cafe, beach huts etc. Sleeps 4 + 2. Wooden floors, private parking, sea views from upstairs. Visit England 4 star rating - December 2016. Secure courtyard style garden with table & chairs. Gas c/heating, living gas fire. Bedlinen provided but not towels. 1 small dog welcome (if no children). 4 local restaurants/inns & shop all within easy walking distance. Ideal for beach, walking, birdwatching & golf. Our Family love this area & the beach etc. We have another cottage nearby just for our family & friends and we are often there.

Why Lee Miller chose Kings Lynn & West Norfolk

We love the area and the cottage is so near to the fantastic beach & yet within walking distance of restaurants etc. We can play golf, go birdwatching,walk, visit lots of places of interest or just laze about.

What makes this house unique

Golf course road is a private road and therefore very quiet but only approx 200 yards from the beach and yet within easy walking distance to restaurants, Inns etc.

Both myself and my dog have missed to walks along the beach but back to the real world. Anyway thank you again.

Just to let you know that we enjoyed every minute of our stay and will be certainly returning. 20th May 2012.

April 2014 We did enjoy our brief stay, it's a lovely part of the Country and the house was just right.

Modern comfortable cottage close to a sandy beach

Thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay at Sandpiper Cottage that was welcoming, comfortable and ideally suited for a short stroll to the sandy beach. Helped by the fantastic hot weather virtually all week, the superb patio (with great furniture) was a cosy suntrap nearly all day and the strong Wi-Fi signal covered the whole area. With a pub/restaurant 100 yards away and just a five 5 minute walk to the local village stores & post office with other larger shops, banks and two supermarkets in Hunstanton town close by.

All in all, we had a great holiday at Sandpiper in what was our first visit to the area - but we shall return.

Lovely location for the beach we did not need to use the car at all

Very neat and tidy

We had a good stay at Pipers Cottage and enjoyed visits to various places of interest,

The cottage was fine for us, particularly the kitchen. I found it quite difficult getting comfortable in the living room as all the seating was rather soggy and eventually brought a chair in from the garden and put cushions on it. The double bed was very comfortable and the house was clean and tidy. Our only negative was that both toilet brushes need to be changed for new ones!

Loved the proximity to the beach and enjoyed walking there and seeing glorious sunsets.

It may need new cushions (or new furniture) Lee just to update, we now have brand new leather sofas which we hope guests will find very comfy

We had a fantastic week here.

Great location, walking on the beach with our dog. Fab local produce cooked in the social kitchen. Made use of the patio even in March. Warmest house we've stayed in. Cosy living room. Loved it.

Great facilities and fabulous location by beach

Stayed at Sandpiper over Christmas - fantastic house, well equipped and very warm & cosy. Had no trouble cooking Christmas dinner in the large kitchen/dining room. Located very close to fabulous sandy beach, great for long walks, and we enjoyed watching the Kite Surfers & Windsurfers. Tried several of the local pubs which are within walking distance, one very convenient at the end of the lane, and had good meals in all of them. Owner Lee was very helpful and responded quickly to queries raised. Thoroughly recommend Sandpiper - we hope to go back soon.

Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

200 yards walk to beautiful sandy beach,lifeboat station,beach cafe,beach huts and sand dunes. Beach levels out very gently & leaves pools of water when tide is going out. Ideal for watching kite surfing & for bird watching. Can walk dog along miles of beach, fantastic early morning when there are usually lots of oyster catchers and other birds. Stroll to the Mariners (2 minutes) and have a drink or coffee on their decking & watch the fantasic sunset over the sea.

Travel:

Nearest Station Kings Lynn direct line to Kings Cross. Coasthopper bus meets up with London trains and stops at Old Hunstanton.

Distances:

We are in village of Old Hunstanton with restaurants/Inns etc. and Post Office general store. Hunstanton approx.1.25 miles away, great walk along beach or use Coasthopper bus. Sandringham & Holkham Hall approx. 15mins drive. Burnham Market about 20minutes drive.

Further Details:

Reastaurants etc. all within 5 minute walk. Post office/general store 4 minute walk.Beach cafe / beach /sand dunes 2 minute walk.Tennis Courts & swimming pool,supermarkets & Banks in Hunstanton 3 minute drive.
