Apartment in Jandia Playa, Morro Jable, Central Location, 200 Yards From The Beach
This apartment overlooks the sensational Jandia beach which has fine golden sand and extends for 14 kilometers. Most of the beach is clothes optional. Jandia is in the relatively unspoiled south of Fuerteventura. The private balcony which is south facing gets and has great views of the spectacular evening sunsets. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants close to the apartment with 2 small supermarkets within 150 meters. Fuerteventura is a duty free island. There are 24 hr medical facilities and a dentist close by. Being close to the Sahara desert the summers are hot and the winters warm with little rain, thus there is an all year round holiday season.

We are a fun loving Cornish couple who fell in love with this part of Fuerteventura. Jandia reminds us of Cornwall as it was 30 years ago

Nice appartement with good location
We had a very nice vacation in Morro Jable and in this appartement. We are not very much fan of typical charter holidays and prefer to organise our holidays by ourselves; ordinary scheduled flights and vacation rentals. The appartment had a very good position; easy reachable by car and walkable distance to the "real" city with nice small restaurants.
El Callao turned out to our favorite place to eat and listen to live music (blues, rock and flamenco the Three Nights we were there).
The last three days we went to the beach at west coast next to Pueblo del Mar/ La Pared; beautiful sand, few people, large waves, and surfers to be entertained by.
Colin, the owner, lives next door and can give good advice about the area and what to do.
We have just returned from a 10 day stay in Colin/Sam's apartment, very compact and cosy, nice easy access to all the resort has to offer. The apartment is just what is needed for 2 people to have a relaxing stay and Colin is always on hand should you need any tips, advice directions etc. The resort has plenty to offer, nice walks fabulous beach (although care must be taken when swimming as strong under currents). take a trip to Morro Jable harbour to see the turtles, stingrays and the opportunity to purchase fresh fish. There are plenty of eateries both near the apartment and just a comfortable 20 min walk away is the town square with all it's attractions for a good night out.
We can only offer 4 stars as the wifi (and Colin will agree) is very on/off, the television is for Spanish TV only although there are some DVD's supplied and you can always take your own, the only other minor poitn, and this is on a personal basis, I do like my tea made in a teapot!!!
We really enjoyed our stay and have already started to plan for going back next year, we love the apartment and the area is just fabulous, see you both next year.
After visiting the north and east of Fuerteventura on our three previous visits here. We decided to venture south and visit Jandia. My wife and i like to stay away from hotels as we prefer sampling the local food and drink. After emailing and speaking with colin on the telephone. I felt very positive this was going to be a wonderful break. Colin met us on arrival and escorted us to his apartment. On giving us the guided tour of the apartment. We realised that this really was going to be home from home. So many things laid on for us it was unreal. Beer and bubbles in the fridge. Bathroom like the local chemist shop. The list of home comforts went on and on. The flat is very compact and has every appliance known to man. The balcony is great and has wonderful views of the beautiful beach. We loved mixing with the locals and trying a different restaurant every night. Colin lives next door so help is close at hand if you want to know anything about the local area. We loved our break here. Totally chilled out week to recharge the batteries. I really do envy colin and his wife their way of life here. Made it my ambition to do the same.

Comfortable, clean and good location!
We stayed together at the apartment from the 12th of august till the 23th and enjoyed every bit of it. The apartment is located
very centrally in Jandia with shops and cafés all around on street level. Everything which you might need is within walking distance
and the beach can already be seen from the balcony. The apartment was clean when we arrived and during our stay we weren't confronted with anything that we needed and wasn't present in the apartment. From an oven to even cooling elements in the freezer for a cooling bag (which also was present in the apartment), we couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised with how complete the apartment was.
During our stay Colin gave us several interesting tips for sights for example the turtle rescue center in Morro Jable (open tue to fri).
The times we ran in to him he was concerned with us if we didn't miss anything, whether we were enjoying our stay and he stressed that we could always knock on their door if something was wrong. We are very happy about our stay in the apartment and the friendliness of Colin and his wife and would recommend the apartment to anyone interested in visiting Jandia.
Colin's apartment offers everything you need to guarantee a really pleasant stay. A cosy small apartment well-furnished with a stunning view on Jandia beach and the lighthouse. How I miss the evenings spent on the terrace drinking beer and looking at the sunset! The apartment is located in an old tourist apartments block, probably one of the fist built in Jandia, not so nice to see but I can assure you the most quiet place I have ever been, no noise at all! And what can I say about Colin and his wife Sam? An enchanting couple that will give you all the information you need to discover the beautiful Fuerteventura (they live next door). The location is great, 15 minutes walk from the village of Morro Jable and with so many good fish restaurants to try. Without any doubts the south of Fuerteventura is far better than the north, offers much more to see and it is less windy. I would really recommend Colin's apartment. Thanks for everything.Piera and Lino

- Notes on accommodation: The apartment is in the middle of Jandia separated from the beach only by a nature reserve which is approximately 200 yds wide, access to the beach is via wooden bridges crossing the nature reserve. There is a 4 lane walking, jogging, cycling track running alongside most of the beach. Apartmento 8016 is on the ground floor and is on an elevated site which provides an excellent view of the beach and sea, access is via an elevator from the street level. The apartment is in one of the oldest buildings in Jandia and because tourists mingle with the very friendly locals it is easy to quickly feel part of the community. Outside: At the street level there are relaxing bars, restaurants, shops and ice cream parlours in both directions. Jandia is next to the old fishing village of Morro Jable at the south west end of Fuerteventura and is well known for its 14 kilometer ,beach of fine golden sand. Most of the beach is clothes optional. At night Jandia is friendly, busy and safe, a choice of relaxing bars or bars with some live entertainment. Morro Jable fishing village can be walked to using a charming paved footpath running along the edge of the sea, here are some very Spanish shops, waterside restaurants, typically Spanish street restaurants, bars and tapas bars (some serving food until 1 am ). Taxis are easily available and inexpensive. Morro Jable has recently been pedestrianized and now many bars and restaurants have tabled and chairs in the street.
