This charming, newly-renovated farm house dates back to the 1800s and offers generous guest accommodation over 3 storeys comprising of 2 double and 1 twin bedrooms plus 2 shower-rooms, 1 en-suite. There is a comfortable sitting room with log burning fire, Wifi, TV, DVD and VCR, a large, a fully-equipped kitchen/dining room, with washing machine and dishwasher, which leads onto a shaded terrace looking over the pretty garden, private swimming pool and countryside beyond. It is perfectly positioned just a five-minute drive to the pretty Bastide town of Beaumont and only a 30-minute drive from Bergerac airport.

Just what we wanted

Had a great holiday in this excellent house. We knew Beaumont before (very pretty and not too touristy) and were looking for a 3 bed house with a pool close by. The ad description is very accurate and the property was clean, well equipped and all we needed. The owners use it as well as let it out and this makes all the difference to keep the quality up. Fantastic pool ! Quiet location. I would thoroughly recommend this property.

Activity and Interests

Car: recommended


There is a very good swimming lake with beach 15mins drive away in Lanquais, boats for kids and other children's activities also on offer here.


Nearest airport is Bergerac, 30mins drive away. Bordeaux airport is 1hour 50mins drive away. Car hire is recommended.


5mins drive to Beaumont du Perigord for local shops and restaurants and weekly farmers market.

25mins drive to Bergerac town for river trips, shops, museums and markets.

30mins drive to Sarlat at the heart of the Dordogne region.

20mins to world heritage site of Cadouin Abbey.

Fabulous selection of local markets all within 35mins drive.

Further Details:

The property is very well located to explore the Dordogne region with castles, gardens, an aquarium, a children's adventure/water park, canoeing, swimming, and many other attractions all within 45mins drive. Also well positioned to visit the famous bastide towns of the region - one of which is Beaumont the local town.
