Spacious, clean and comfortable property

  • 5 of 5

Even though there were 8 of us staying at the property it never felt crowded. The house was well eqiupt with everything needed, and very clean and comfortable. The children loved the garden and spent most of their time outside. On the couple of evenings that we ate in it was lovely to sit out on the balcony. It was very close to a couple of good beaches and had a large co-op supermarket not too far away. We ate at The Highdown Inn, very nice food and in walking distance, also the Waterfront which was a short drive. Owner was very helpful with the queries we had, would definately consider going back again.

Great stay at Totland

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at East House with our daughter, son-in-law and their 4 children. The house met our needs very well and was clean. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed. It didn't take long for the family to find some of the board games available. The garden was by far the best we have ever had at a holiday 'cottage' and the children loved it. There were plentiful supplies of all the things that one might run out of such as toilet paper and dishwasher tablets.

fabulous house for a family holiday

  • 5 of 5

Our family shared the house with grandparents and cousins - was perfect accommodation, especially the light bright open living space on the upper floor leading to a deck amongst the trees looking down on beautiful garden with swing and trampoline - and delicious raspberries. Walking distance to quiet beaches and to stunning heathland with views over the needles. Beautifully clean and well equipped house. Charming helpful owner.

Perfect house for families with children

  • 4 of 5

Lucy was really helpful in the planning and quick to reply to questions. The house was even nicer than portrayed in the pictures and unlike some holiday rentals really did have everything we needed eg. cooking stuff and things for the young children - 2 cots, plastic bowls and spoons, 2 highchairs, even nappy bags which I forgot to bring! The garden is beautiful with yet more stuff for children - trampoline, little den and toys. I would equally recommend for people without children. Nice local beaches and really nice local pub about 20 mins walk.

Would definitely go back and imagine it would also be nice in winter with wood burner and conservatory which was a sun trap

Great family retreat

  • 5 of 5

We had an extended family holiday here with 3 Grandparents and our 2 young children. This topsy turvy house catered extremely well for all our needs. The children enjoyed the extensive garden with pirate house and rope swing. While the adults enjoyed the spacious accomodation and a house equipped to a high specification. We enjoyed the warmth of the log burner in the evenings and the sunshine in the conservatory. It was a lovely place to stay! Highly recommended!

Fantastic

  • 5 of 5

East House is certainly East. It is about 5 minutes walk from the Needles on the Eastern tip of the Isle and surrounded by beautiful country. The home is easy, comfortable and great for families. The garden was a hit with all the children and parents alike.

The rope swing and pirate house were hugely popular - even the children enjoyed them! The home's upstairs conservatory/dining area/balcony are wonderful, especially on sunny days. Ample living and outdoor space for a large group. All 8 of us enjoyed our stay in the home-away-from-home with well-equipped kitchen, living and dining rooms.

We highly recommend this home which is just a few minutes walk away from beaches, coastline and the local grocery store.

Thank you to the owners who were helpful and easily contactable during our stay.
